Thank you velux. It’s even worse when it’s sudden. And what’s harder is that I know he’s gone, but it feels unreal. Invisible almost. I feel peaceful, accepting and calm, but then the hurt comes.

Update. He’s…. Gone. The neurologists and surgeons ruled everything out. He’s on life support, but peaceful he knows we love him. They announced him officially brain dead. And then, a pigeon came to sit outside beside me. I think it was him. Dad, watching me in my kin spirit.

As much as I don’t wanna believe it. This is it. I was okay up until this point, and just now I’m breaking. The anchor is breaking. Been awake for 24 hrs almost and no caffeine My family is a wreck, but we’re song our best. My body is fighting me; anxiety and stress.

Yall, I need prayers for my 85 year old father. He just got ambulanced to the nearest hospital. We don’t know if it’s a stroke, or a TIA or an annurism. But ya know. Prayers help. I am okay; I am staying strong and holding my family up. Thankful for my close friends and family. And him.
