Been playing MTG again and dove back into Modern. Been tweaking Jund Hollow One and it’s been a blast! It’s reasonable to be greedy with the mana base, since you are always looting and fetching for lands. Having the Stomping Grounds allows access to more flexibility in the sideboard. #MTG #Modern

Stopped playing Pokemon TCG Pocket for the most part. Couldn’t get over the $23 real dollars for a promo. Couldn’t get over the lack of product for the monthly subscription. “Gotta catch ‘em all” yeah buddy better open your wallet. If I use this account it will be for MTG from now on.

Deck #36: From The Heavens Dragonite has been around, but there are new options as of late. Manaphy coupled with Dawn can force fast Draco Meteor, especially with consistency with PokeComm. Fan Rotom can remove a target, making Draco Meteor more consistent! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #35: Ape Escape Pesky Leafeon / Irida or Dialga decks pissing you off? One-shot them with Flare Blitz! Infernape EX has no retreat cost and can hide behind Weezing until you Koga it away, nuke, and reset. Usually only needs 2 attacks to win! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #34: Nurture Nature With only 3 basics and 4 evolutions, Pokemon Communication is essential. Having multiple possible options for passive abilities on your Eeveelutions gives the deck several lines. Just play to your opponent’s weaknesses. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Haven’t posted a decklist in a bit, but now that the Pocket meta settled: Deck #33: BONK! Sudowoodo is the new Farfetch’d (go Team Venture!) and shreds the hyper-aggressive all-EX decks. Lucario lets Sudowoodo and Aerodactyl punch VERY hard. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

Deck #32 - Metalflies Brewing with A2 is more complicated, but lots of fun options. Try loading up your Yanmega with Dialga early and launching for 120-130! Or just let Melmetal do his thing if you have the draw. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Hey all, regarding Chicagoland Summit. We are still working diligently on the compendium re-launch and are awaiting details to be able to launch it properly. Sorry for any delays to this point. I promise it will be worth it for the revamp. Should be ready soon. Stay tuned!

Deck #31 - Primeval Leeks I’m so happy. My favorite Pokemon is very viable again with Leek Slap doing 40 on turn one (50 with Giovanni) and it beats a lot of things. Hitmonlee is Magikarp insurance, Marshadow is aggro insurance, the deck is very cohesive. Enact PRIMEVAL LAW! #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Not competing in Smash currently (hand injury), so I’ve spent two weeks getting back into the MTG grind. Esper Aggro feels insane. Hopeless Nightmare is a card I would have personally designed. My list has some tech in it, all of which has performed very well. Back into Top 1500 again! 💪

Deck #30 - BOYFRIEND Use the Chatot mimic to dump a bunch of random cards to improve the statistics of always having Nidoqueen and Nidoking. Nidoqueen does all the work staying at home with the kids while Nidoking goes out and parties. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #29 - Vermilion City Gym Most decks now need to have a plan that either withstands a 140 damage attack or can deal 140+ in one attack. This goes the 2nd route. Get damage early with Pikachu EX and Electrode and be ready to load up Raichu in a pinch. ⚡️ #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #28 - Forest Spirits If I had to play a tournament tomorrow, this is the deck I would run. The optimal way to play Celebi IMO, Chatot 1x and a toolbox of options to get to Celebi + Serperior the most consistent & quick way possible. S tier deck easily. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #27 - Smokestack Only using Dark energy, the goal is to get Weezing online with a Hypno so that opponents need to battle through Smokescreen + sleep while Greninja chips away. Limited deck space makes this one tricky to use but it’s nasty when it works. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

Deck #26 - Sweet Scent Give yourself some interesting tech in your 🍃 deck! Victreebel can trap weak Pokemon into having no escape, and Pokemon Flute can combo to get a bonus point! Also multiple Exeggutor lines, both aggro and countering big energy decks! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

Deck #25 - Primeval Law Hope everyone’s holiday season has gone well! Let’s pick back up with Primeape and Marshadow being backed up by a nasty 140hp, 80dmg prehistoric flying rock bird. Aerodactyl EX can win early, but so can all of these options. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

New shelf addition. My favorite Mario universe character.

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

Deck #24 - The Vortex Articuno EX can defeat 130hp enemies like Mew and Celebi in two hits with a Giovanni. Players stacking energy into one outlet can just get brutalized by the whirlpool. Not sure how competitive this is but winning with it feels amazing! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

Deck #23 - Darkness Revisited Whirlipede into Scolipede finally gives the Dark decks a real nasty curve out next to Weezing. Arbok was fine, but Scolipede is a stronger tank and Leaf allows for more withdrawal options. Deck versatility is more common now! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #22 - Metal Birds! This is a strong answer to Celebi EX. Heavy Impact + Giovanni one shots anything in the Grass decks except the rogue Venusaur builds. Turn 1 Amass, Turn 2 Evolve into Melmetal. Pidgeot EX is a good backup plan. Make sure you pick the right Pidgeotto! #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

010

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

Deck #21 - Mythic Dragons Kicking off the Mythic Island set with a spicy one! Dragonite and Starmie has been attempted a few times, but the Mew EX gives the Genome Hacking ability to this very nasty pile of attacks. Gonna be fun brewing with these cards! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

020

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 17/12/2024

Deck #20 - The Champs Probably the strongest & most consistent deck in the format, Mewtwo EX + Giovanni beats most Stage 1 Pokemon. (All 3 decks today were S-tier) Gardevoir makes Mewtwo EX nuke for 150 per turn. See you tomorrow for #MythicalIsland! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

010

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 17/12/2024

Deck #19 - Lightning Deck Wins ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️ The second of three primary format decks today, the Pikachu EX card is scaled insanely well compared to the rest of the format. It also is super effective against all the legendary birds and most Water cards. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

010

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 17/12/2024

Deck #18 - Fire Flyers Three decks at once today, to commemorate the metagame before Mythical Island tomorrow. The first is the very common and popular Fire Flyers deck, that abuses Moltres to set up powerful interactions with Charizard and Arcanine. #PokemonTCGPocket #Pokemon #PTCGPocket

020

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

Deck #17 - Muscle Men Machamp is linear. Punch. Mankey promo sets itself up for Primeape to also, uhh, punch. Some early game math required because of Machop retreat cost, choose your line wisely. (With the new set soon, I’ll add in #MythicalIsland cards after 20 decklists) #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

000

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Deck #16 - Not The Bees! The idea here is simple pressure on your opponents early and often. Amounts of energy don’t matter as much so swapping frequently is easy. Beedrill can start whacking for 70 pretty fast, especially if you’re forced to play first. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

010

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

Should have done this awhile ago. Add me if we’re mutuals. 🙂

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

Deck #15 - You Snooze, You Lose! Put your opponents to sleep repeatedly, forcing them to win coin flips just to play the game. The opposite of my last deck, this one puts all the bad luck possibility squarely in the opponent’s play area. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

020

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

Deck #14 - Gambler’s Fallacy Like flipping coins? Now you can always be flipping coins. Only Fighting energy necessary and you can get type advantages with both Fighting and Grass. Lickitung can also brutalize…if you’re lucky. The coins never lie. 🪙🪙🪙🪙 #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #13 - Second Strikers The plan is to set up Bruxish while evolving to Greninja, using the combo to deal a good 90 damage per turn (100 with Giovanni). Kangaskhan can buy time and do crazy amounts with coin flips as well, also setting up Second Strike. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

020

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

Deck #12 - Pacifist Run You may have seen this one around. Have some fun trying to win without dealing any damage! Aerodactyl can sweep anything away, but it has to be quick setup off of Old Amber. Use Pokedex and Poke Ball together to get smart shuffles. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

120

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

Deck #11 - Metal Butts Make yourself tanky while simultaneously healing for insurmountable totals! Obvious primary goal here is to use Amass once and immediately rush with Melmetal, though Butterfree provides sustainable options. #PTCGPocket #Pokemon #PokemonTCGPocket #PokemonPocket

With most Trading Card Games being digitized (like #MTGA and #PTCG), it REALLY bothers me when you can’t trade cards with other accounts. Like, it’s right there. It’s the first word. It’s. The. FIRST. Word.

Deck #10 - Sleepy Shurikens Here’s one that utilizes 2 of the current promo cards from the Venusaur Solo event! Put opponents to sleep and win some flips, then bludgeon with Water Shuriken and Wigglytuff You can defeat 2 Pokemon in 1 turn with some setup! #Pokemon #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket

020

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

Deck #9 - Misty Knows Kung-Fu Tired of those pesky lightning decks? Roundhouse kick them out of the game with Mienshao 🦵 ! Only Water💧 energy is needed while you set up Starmie ⭐️ and Articuno 🦅 Lapras can take the place of the X Speed if you’d like too. 👍 #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

040

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Deck #8 - Frogs & Eggs Staying on the Venusaur trend, this is a consistent way to play big Grass🍃 bombs. Exeggutor can take over early with ease, & Venusaur with so much healing backup is nearly indestructible outside of Zard EX decks. No Sabrina or Red Card needed. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket

020

UR | PAC DIESEL @pacdiesel.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Deck #7 - Blaine Aggro Not unique or complex, but with the Venusaur solo event drop going on, this is the optimal version of Blaine. Magmar is too slow. You’re all-in on early wins from Rapidash & nukes from Ninetales. Retreats are low cost, so X Speed is great. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket

🚨🚨🚨 More updates for CHICAGOLAND SUMMIT are still coming in a week. However: This one we aren't waiting on. FREE VOTES for weeklies will be increased from 1 free vote per event attended to 5 free votes per event attended. Previous totals will be adjusted as well. 🚨🚨🚨

Deck #6 - One-Hit Wonders Do you feel the need to gamble? Do you just want to feel alive? Then hitting 2x heads on KO Crab is for you! Slow opponents down with Headache & Red Card away their big hands, then go for the Kingler finisher! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket (Check out my other decks!)
