I think part of it is how often I buy packs of Digimon cards when I go and so they have me flagged as someone who likes card games and not specifically as someone who likes Digimon

I don't hate promotion emails from gamestop because I like knowing when a sale happens or when certain pre orders open, but I wish I could turn off all the emails they specifically send me about pokemon cards because I don't give a fuuuuuck

Metal Sonic spinoff game that is also a semi-open world like Frontiers and is a Metroidvania where you get new powers and upgrades for Metal to get to new places in the map

Prime 4 is underrated just because I think a lot of people dog pile and over hate it even though it's just mostly mediocre and not worth the level of disrespect. Super is overrated just because a lot of people put it on a pedastle of being absolutely perfect and untouchable.

Fuck yeah. If I had any monies I would have bought this already, but Christmas is coming up and I like to get the shopping done early and I also had some unexpected payments. Hopefully I'll be able to play it before next year, mainly because as much as I love Control I'm not picking it over Metroid

In my defense I don't think it said "ft. Brian David Gilbert" when I first heard it on Spotify

This also just isn't the first time I've looked up what the fuck a quest wanted me to do and then went "how the fuck was I ever supposed to figure that out on my own." I guess it's maybe supposed do encourage a community thing but fuck me if I'm using the virtual keyboard on my playstation for that.

Pacalakin @pacalakin.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I spent a long time looking for a merchant NPC or something, and in fact I originally thought all three items I needed were from public events, because the quest says like, "get the bone pieces from public eventS in blah blah, blah blah, and blah blah." But no only the first one is a public event.

Pacalakin @pacalakin.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Am I stupid or is Destiny 2 bizzarely incomprehensible sometimes with what it wants you to do? Like, when you say "collect marrow from the wandering bone collector," what part of any of that was supposed to convey that I had to go to a specific spot on the moon map and kill a specific enemy?

Just found out that seals sometimes try to socialize with dogs at the beach because they get confused and think the dog is another seal. I can't put into words how happy I am.

I think about genie bullshit way too often. I saw an ant and thought "I wish every non-human, non-cat living thing in this house would die" which was already a stupidly specific thought to have, but then I even followed it up immediately after with like "well now my digestive microbiome is all dead"

It's slightly embarrassing how late I clocked the main twist in Digimon Time Stranger. Towards the end when everything was already starting to fall into place, I took a slightly longer look than normal at the player character's eyes and went "...oh wait a minute." I'm usually good at catching twists

I mean imagine the Resident Evil Remake series but with Sonic games, that's the level of rework and remake I would want to see

120

Pacalakin @pacalakin.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Imagine the ideas and concepts of Sonic 06 that keep people coming back and wanting it to be good, but it actually IS good and works and doesn't have new bugs every time you look at it and the characters are animated right and they take out the bestiality and is much less frustrating

120

Pacalakin @pacalakin.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Sonic games would benefit from like, a series of full remakes. A Sonic Colors Super Ultimate version that fixes that one's issues, Sonic Unleashed where the night stages are reworked and the rushed aspects are tweaked and the frame rate works at all, a version of Forces that's like completely redone

The Protomen albums are a good representation to me of the feeling of helplessness in the face of fascism and I wonder if the state of the US had anything do with how long Act III took and if that's why it ends on a cliffhanger
