Minecraft just finally made all blocks automatically assign the render layer based on the texture, instead of being hardcoded, meaning that we can now create cool stuff like this fog effect I made! There are so many possibilities for this, I love this update so much 💛 #minecraft #resourcepack

Just noticed that Mojang made the Chest UV's so confusing that they made the copper chest texture backwards. The shadow that's supposed to be there on the lock is on the opposite side of the chest

Vanilla block models FINALLY can be rotated by ANY value, they no longer need to be multiples of 22.5 I'm so happy! Still waiting for them to add rotation on multiple axes though

We have added layer filters to the new editor! These filters are non-destructive, meaning they do not change the underlying pixels of the layer, allowing them to be easily changed. As well, buttons have gotten a visual overhaul thanks to @p4ncake4451.bsky.social. #minecraft #mcdev #minecraftskins
