A fantastic EP! I think i'll queue this one next. It's been a few years since I listened to it as well. I wore out my CD of it as a teen.

Voivod Symphonique ce soir. Performance et arrangements absolument magistraux. The End of Dormancy en symphonique ça rentrait au poste en tbnk

Yeah, sex is good, but have you ever won a game of magic by draining your opponent for 10 with Vengeful Bloodwitch and Marauding Blight-Priest?

Kendrick Lamar GNX 2024 Rap Rating: 8.5/10 Bangers all around, but less emphasis on the dense lyricism or high concepts of his previous works. This reminds me a lot of untitled unmastered.

Opeth 🇸🇪 The Last Will And Testament 2024 (first listen) Progressive death metal Rating: 9/10 As a longtime Opeth fan who likes their progressive phase as much as their death metal era, I found this album to be the perfect synthesis of the two. Will revisit this one often. Track 4 is a standout.

Hath 🇺🇸 All That Was Promised 2022 (relisten) Death Metal/Progressive Death Metal/Tech Death Rating:9/10 It's catchy, it's atmospheric, yet crushingly violent. The pacing is incredible, the riffs... THE RIFFS!

Second trophy in two days in #MagicFoundations draft this morning. Zimone is an insane magic card. The landfall package really did wonders against grindy matchups, and Bigfin Bouncers stopped aggro decks very efficiently. Made it up to Diamond 4!

A Magic Foundations draft deck that includes Zimone, Paradox Sculptor, Tatyova, Benthic Druid and Loot, Exuberant Explorer.

Cynic 🇺🇸 Ascension Codes 2021 (first listen) Progressive Metal Rating: 7/10 As much as I like prog, fusion and Cynic's earlier albums, this one failed to grab me as much. The spoken vocoder transitions felt distracting and created a lack of pace.

2 headed giant draft with the boys. My Outlaws of Thunder Junction set cube is a blast to draft. Azorius draw-go and Jund Ramp vs Mardu Outlaws/Aristocrats and Grixis crimes

Third Foundations draft trophy this morning. Listening to @lordsoflimited.bsky.social argue about best commons while drafting surely did help haha

A picture of a MTG Arena draft deck that I trophied with. The deck is a blue-black control deck with 2 Dreadwing Scavengers.

Still not over how magnificent Songs of A Lost World is. It's the first time in a while that I feel compelled to spin an album on repeat.

My girlfriend has been playing a pretty cool mobile card game which is thoroughly ruined by the microtransaction model. They made a superb base game, but instead of cool new challenges, the levels are just grinding to see ads to grind to see ads. What a waste!
