I had an MRI. It analyzed my back very well, then I had an important surgery 2 months later. Your doctor orders an MRI because other tests showed a problem and the MRI produces absolute clarity. Listening to him talk about health is like a fever dream in that it very uncomfortably makes no sense.

I think it goes back even further that. Operation Paperclip embedded Nazis into US government agencies shortly after WWII. Hitler was also quoted as being fond of the US's approach to Native Americans. Common ground in ethnic policy probably fated these two political bodies to be warm to each other.

If you have a windows computer, archive.org has the one that shipped with windows xp (first result for "microsoft solitaire") and it has no ads and no cost. I'm able to run it on a 64-bit version of windows 7. I don't know of a freeware/shareware ad-free one for the phone though

If this termination notice circulating is legit, then yes, for "leaving his post" and "insubordination." What kind of security company tells its employees to stay out of matters that actually concern security?

I am writing to inform you your employment with O'Brien and Associates is being terminated as of Tuesday, October 28, 2025, due to the following:

On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, you were scheduled to work from 8am to 3:30pm as a door guard. WHile on shift there was an incident that took place in the parking lot. You took it upon yourself to leave your designated post without approval and go into the parking lot. When asked by your Site Manager Michael what you were doing, you stated you were "watching for ICE." You were instructed to go back to your position at the door.

A moment later, as ICE is doing their job, you proceed to argue with an ICE employee and are recording the situation as well. The argument turned to the point where you were almost pepper sprayed by them.

You once again, after being told to stay at your position, leave your position and walk once again into the parking lot. Again, you were told not to leave your position by the Site Manager Michael. You become extremely uncooperative and state, "Says who." Site Manager Michael then informs you to go home due to your insubordination and failure to follow directives and violate policies.

Once instructed to go home, you threatened Site Manager by saying "make me" to him in response to you being sent home.

People should be flagging those as misleading... not only do the AI videos showing people "playing in the streets" "downplay" the severity of the storm, it also misrepresents how the affected are actually treating the storm, and gives air to the crowd who says these storms are fake altogether.

The one to the right has writing true to lighting and grease stains consistent with handling of the pierogis, while the left's big tell for me is the cardboard is suspiciously spotless yet off-color in the same way the stain is, and the writing much blacker. The pho looks completely organic.

Makes me nostalgic for my birth state because I used to go to a particular lighthouse to unwind, and where I would take friends visiting from afar, show them the history on the plaques and look for cool sea rocks as the sun set. The color and lighting add to that warm, comfortable feeling of "home."

This happened recently to someone else I follow but on a different subject, who was the total opposite of the list he got put on. I don't know if it's trolls or people building lists with string search scripts, but it's why I almost never trust others to curate "block lists" for me. I trust my eyes.

Thanks for the reassurance. Mice are sensitive so I have to be very careful it's dust-extracted, no fragrance, no pine. Canadian Tire carries "Straw Boss" small animal bedding and I'm not sure why Petvalu etc. don't. I didn't think to look there, but now I am free

They have repeatedly suggested "the solution is more" and call you un-American for opposing them. They are done with diplomacy. Until ICE agents are being arrested, I have a hard time believing American politicians are serious about curbing this assault on their communities.
