For all the people playing WorldUnited, I experimented with different DXVK Versions and found out that DXVK Version 2.6 with a specific config works the best without persistent crashes all the time, using the following config. I got around twice the framerates and AMD enabled features now.

The inventory can be made 1000% better, there are dozen of UI patterns for this available, even for VR which is basically just a touch interface.

"Not being as pretty", yes, this is one reason why they quit. They are used to being pretty. It's like I'm taking your phone away and giving you a Sony Ericsson from 2004. And I already gave examples of better UI by usability. Don't get me wrong I love Resonite but I understand the frustration.

Why are you all just defending things. I clearly come up with criticism I get from people trying out Resonite, and all you are doing is trying to find excuses for doing the things you are doing. If everything is perfect, then the people should all be kicking the doors open.

VRCs UI is definitely not perfect, but apparently it's better than Resonite because people who are not IT / Developer people can use it well enough to do anything. And it's so good enough that there are hardly as many complaints as there are with Resonites UI and the current userbase of Resonite.

I strongly believe that this is one of the most important things. You can ask any VRC person and they will tell you that it is really really important. It's also the reason why every voice application in existence that is somehow popular has this feature to toggle the voice

Even just the fact that player profiles are missing is just so devastating, from a social standpoint. Whenever I meet someone new in the other game, the first thing I do is I look at their bio.

More UI features, like posting status updates or what's going on / "what I made" in Resonite. Or player profiles. Bio? Calendar, more obvious event UIs, more than just "going through active sessions rn". People like to show themselves and what they accomplished. "featured items" on profiles.

Even just the thing as opening Resonite for the first time as a new user: As with alot of applications, default settings should be understandable and follow standards - but how do I explain people that come from VRC that V in desktop doesn't toggle the microphone and people have to use the mouse

Well, from my personal experience with people I showed Resonite it mostly comes down to - UI - IK and tracking (furries want everything perfect ✨). - Social features missing - Some comfort features from the other VR game

The underlying frustration is that the UI is overloaded and simply not user friendly, as reported by a dozen of people. It's simple as that. It needs an overhaul with a proper UX / UI designer. It's probably not that easy because the UI is programmed and not designed.

Of course, all of this needs to be discussed with a team, but the whole UI screams "I made a backend and all the features can be set here", without any thought of uncomplicated, user friendly UI that explains itself

I'm not just saying whats good for me.I went through these points with couple of people, with us all working in technical UI UX fields. It's as simple as: Features that are used frequently get moved to main page, hide features that are not used often. If this is already followed, half of it is done.

Here are just a couple of examples of what's wrong with the UI. It seems everything just got slapped on. It is not user friendly or intuitive at all. it's missing love. We just went through the first pages and we find stuff on every page. There should be a quick menu ingame with important stuff.
