Back when I worked in Reading, the Morrisons there did prawn and egg mayo baguettes. Sounds odd, but OMG it was amazing. Then they suddenly stopped. And ever since I’ve been wondering if I dreamt it up.

Been playing that new(ish) James Bond game. Enjoying it.

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Some sort of Wordpress hosted one?

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

I'll have a little google.. this is the cover

010

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

They only officially released one. There is a second album out there that was never officially released.

Mines got that, it’s a manual open. My issue is CH is seemingly stuck on open, hence heating comes on when hot water is on.

000

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Yeah thanks, have tried looking but no option without starting to remove the cover etc which I’m not too keen on

100

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Ahh 4K will be it then. We’ve got multiple users but don’t have anything above a standard HD tv.

010

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Valve in the heating system is playing up. Radiators are heating up even though only hot water is on. Think the valve needs replacing. No idea if any way to manually set it to hot water only.

Really? Mine was £12.99 a month and this month has risen to £13.99

Mate that sounds awful. Lazy teaching. Well done to you for taking the time to help your son learn. Top parenting 👏

010

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I know, what more do we need? 😂 But would good to have a band account on here to keep up with any news etc

000

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Thank you. Will have a look into it

000

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Any closer to getting the Soups on here, Sean?

100

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

If you don’t mind me asking, what do you use for these reposts? I’m wanting to do something similar for a couple of bands I like that aren’t on here.

100

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Got a code for Oasis tickets. £170 - £203? You can keep them. Not paying that. Disgusting.

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Just finished it whilst off sick. Excellent issue. Loved the Ultimate stuff but also Condemned and XBox 360 launch talk.

8 yrs ago this week I made my first trip to Scotland. Lovely place, lovely people. Had my first (and worst haggis), saw a bizarre Aberdeen FC piano, went to John O’Groats and more. Been back a few times since for work.

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Don’t worry too much about it. I feel guilty for mentioning it now.

100

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

It is on everything that’s a link. But don’t seem to be able to mute based on that..

100

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

That would be good. And it’s certainly not a criticism of what you’ve done as it’s very much appreciated 👍

000

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Can we stop reposting OM stuff? They’ve been anti stadium for so long. Time to bin them off and look to the future

110

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I was tempted, but only really want the book. So going to wait and see if that gets released separately.

010

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I meant “set your DNS”

000

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

If you can see your DNS server on the TV then setting up a PiHole is the way forwards. Use this on my laptop, desktop and phone and it’s a game changer.

Need to try and get the other 2 before Xmas when they usually sell out of regular sizes. But with a holiday and a mystery football trip to somewhere in Europe coming up, funds are extremely tight.

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Finally picked up my first of this seasons shirts. Opted for the “Boca Juniors” third shirt. Feels bit disrespectful to Ramon Diaz (River Plate), but it’s my fave of the three. Discovered I had £16 fan cash on my account, which persuaded me to buy one. #oufc

Wise move. It’s odd.. cos I don’t get notifications for WhatsApp come up on my watch, but it has started notifications for some repeat calendar entries that haven’t notified me in 6 months or more. So breaks some notifications, fixes others. Some notifications vanish on the phone and appear later

000

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

No idea what Apple have done, but since upgrading to iOS 27 notifications on phone and watch have gone to 💩. It’s a total mess.

100

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Same. It was one of those moments. Was also my daughters first ever match.

021

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Amazing to think they were originally going to release these on Sept 11th… especially with what’s on the back of the American football shirt.

210

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Hope you’re ok mate and things work out. Am about if you need to DM someone. Take care.

110

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Must be newish then as I think I remember the station and there being no swamp (although I could easily be forgetting/mis remembering)

It’s second in my favourite “free figure offer” cardbacks.. behind this Australian Toltoys offer . If anyone has this cardback for sale please let me know

000

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I haven’t posted any Vintage Star Wars stuff in ages. But this cardback from my collection is a favourite, because of the offer.. not going to post any spoilers.. 😂 #VintageStarWars #StarWars

Alas, Simon I Can’t Believe It’s Not, you cannot.

010

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I’ll check that out. Is there a link for it?

100

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

This is still my favourite account on here. Inoffensive. Makes me smile. Sometimes totally random. And who doesn’t love Japanese culture?

020

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Been listening to a lot of Mansun recently. Mainly “Little Kix”, but some “Six” and some “AOTGL”. Such an underrated band. Remembered for “Wide Open Space” but so many more amazing songs - especially a lot of the b-sides. Always loved a band with cracking b-sides.

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

You come across as such a nice guy in ZZAP Amiga… first impressions and all that 😂. #SpectrumForever

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I’ve played a lot of this game, but not for a while. Where is the Witch’s Swamp? Might have to revisit sometime. Been waiting for the developers next game.. something Chocolatier I think

110

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

You need to re-release that album on vinyl. It’s too rare and too expensive and I love it

000

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

That sounds like something I’d do. “The dates just a suggestion “ 😳

010

OxGeek @oxgeek.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Too much info! 😂 I’m on cheap rosé wine 😢
