#xpncountdown Honestly this feels right for me with the top two. In that order.

Well, 9/10 for me. Only reason I didnt vote for Hurt and Watchtower is my wife did and she's cooler than me. #xpncountdown

#xpncountdown People saying Angel by Bonnie is against the rules or like Walk This Way, am I missing something? John wrote and released it before Bonnie and John did not appear on that original Bonnie version. Am I wrong?

#xpncountdown True story, saw the Dead at Giants Stadium with a buddy for his first show. He wore a Black Flag t-shirt. So many heads came up to him and talked about punk music and similarities of the scenes with the vibe, DIY ethos and such. I always remember that.

#XPNCountdown Dave followed by counting crows big yellow taxi. Some frat dude in a golf shirt is rocking TF out right now. Let him have his couple minutes. Bangers will come.

#xpncountdown This Al Green song is a great time to say that my initial reaction to covers where the original is a popular version is more positive than covers where I didnt realize or forgot were covers. They're usually great songs, but on this list im enjoying the more obvious reimaginings. YMMV

#xpncountdown Love this cover. Anybody remember 1996 Furthur Fest Los Lobos ripping this song while Hurricane Bertha was hitting NJ?

#xpncountdown Shout out to the ladies selling beer at the Spectrum in 95 and grooving with me in the hallway during this song. Haters gonna hate.

#xpncountdown I love the Greensky and Del Band bluegrass covers. They're in my wheelhouse. Some songs are not in my wheelhouse, but dug them anyhow. Is there a better countdown than a Covers one to get people out of their comfort zone?
