Theater here sold out all its showings in under 30 mins (probably more like 20, wasn’t online to see). Even fucking Netflix can be assed to release their films in a handful of theaters for ~2 weeks to qualify them for awards. Paramount does 2 theaters. In the world. 1 week. I am becoming the joker

yes, mickey quinn was the one to storyboard the love confession (and basically everything else catradora) in the finale too

instagram post from mickequ (mickey quinn, storyboard artist on spop) of a rough sketch that depicts adora having just transformed into she-ra, pulling her sword from catra’s chest as she holds her in her arms, in direct reference to utena. this would have taken place during “save the cat” (catra is in the outfit prime forces her to wear when he chips her, adora is transformed into her new s5 she-ra form)

the caption reads:
“Liked by gingerhazing and others
mickequ: i wanted to do a full on utena at one point Imaooo this was before anything was designed as you an tell by the.... everything. wanted cat prime to have a sleek ponytail but i was overruled (im glad tho Imao)

and you know…a certain upcoming lesbian elf that I’m already obsessed with…

actress/musician AJ Michalka side-by-side with the next animated character she’ll be voicing, Theo, from the upcoming indie animated series “The Elves of Amaranth” - Theo has scruffy short red hair and holds a knife in front of herself as she crouches down in a defensive position, looking ready to spring up at a moment’s notice

i mean it’s not that weird considering the creators are two sapphics that happen to be huge fans of spop, but yeah, lol

YouTube comment that reads:

If I had a nickel for every time that AJ Michalka voiced a sapphic tsundere, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice, right?

instagram really embodying that one ratchet and clank exchange my brother and i are still quoting at each other 20+ years later

screencap from Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (2003): Ratchet, an anthropomorphic cat-like creature, is lounging in an armchair saying “Right! I think that was last week…”

moments after the previous screencap: Clank, Ratchet’s robot sidekick, sits in an armchair next to him and responds “Six months ago.”

ND Stevenson smiling smugly while on a panel at ECCC, propping up his chin in his hand, after a fan yells that he should put a catradora marriage proposal in the show

adding a “looks like you’re mine now” when you do it definitely adds to the gay meter

screencap of catra from she-ra (2018) using adora’s sword to lift her chin up while saying “looks like you’re mine now, adora” (screenshot is cropped more than i’d like, but was the best one i could find with a quick google)

concept art of season 5 catra with various outfits - mostly combos of her outfit with pieces of adora’s added in

concept art of potential season 5 catra outfits includes: catra wearing adora’s jacket around her waist, adora’s shirt with the sleeves torn off, shirts similar to adora’s but with short sleeves and with red accents, the rebellion wing pin worn on a belt/on a necklace

SHE-RA FANS, I HAVE JUST LEARNED THIS FACT AND AM NOW FILLED WITH HOPE: the series Captain Underpants, another DreamWorks-Netflix original, was removed in early January from Netflix, and was added to Peacock THE SAME DAY, with 0 announcement prior to it happening

From the Wikipedia page for the “Captain Underpants” DreamWorks-Netflix series:

The show's first season was released on Netflix on July 13, 2018, its second season releasing on February 8, 2019, its third season, Camp, releasing on July 19, 2019, and its fourth season, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants in Space!, releasing on July 10, 2020. In 2023, Hastings confirmed that no further seasons were planned, but a Dog Man movie was in development. On January 9, 2026, the entire series was removed from Netflix following the end of their deal with DreamWorks, moving the series to Peacock the same day.

Unfortunately, we've known about this for a while, and it's already happened to several other Dreamworks shows as their licenses with Netflix expire. Years of hard work by many talented crews have ended up without a home. We showrunners have no control over this.

(Screencap from Twitter)

ND Stevenson @Gingerhazing • 6h
I hope that She-Ra will find a new home and be released in full on DVD; I'm not sure that it will. As is often the way with queer art, our tracks are swept away behind us. Still, it happened. Watch it while you can, and keep records whenever possible. Its legacy is in your hands.

catra and adora from she-ra (2018-2020) kissing and being enveloped in a magical healing rainbow light that symbolizes nothing less than unadulterated gay power

why bury your gays when you can do an ND Stevenson?

Screencap from an interview with ND Stevenson that reads:
“Rendy: My favorite out of all of them is the nonbinary pirate who survived every natural disaster.
ND Stevenson: I love it. As soon as someone says, "Don't kill gay people," I'm like, all right, but what if I did everything? But then they miraculously survive anyway. But just protecting them with the magic of insane good and bad luck at the same time. Give 'em a little bit of plot armor.”

it was soooo hard to choose which photo of my nephew i wanted, but this is a cute one (close second was one where he’s falling asleep on my hand) probably shared him with you a long while back - indi, my brother’s dog 🫶

a small white dog with brown patches on his face and ears has his front legs up on the foot of a bed (he’s sitting on something, he’s not that tall). he’s looking expectantly at the camera, wanting to know when the fuck i will get out of bed and play with him. there are gay things in the bg because i’m gay (korrasami bag, signed nimona poster, arcane bag)

for 15+ long years, ND Stevenson had but one goal…to infect everyone else with this feeling that he’d been suffering silently with on his own:

260

dee 🌈 catra gender ✨ @owldee.bsky.social · 19/10/2025

i get why it was cut intellectually, but emotionally…never getting over that 🧎🏻

earlier draft of Heart Part 2 script from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power by ND Stevenson reads:

“Adora raises her head -- and when she meets Catra's eyes, her eyes are GLOWING BLUE! She breaks into a broad grin.

ADORA
Really?

Catra grins too. Adora's hair is starting to float, the light in her chest starting to GLOW BRIGHTER as the green gashes on her body fade.

CATRA
(laugh)
You're such an idiot.

Catra grabs Adora, pulls her in -- and KISSES HER.

The change is immediate. Adora BLAZES WITH GOLD AND RAINBOW LIGHT, enveloping them both…and when it clears,
it's SHE-RA looking down at Catra! Catra stares up at her in awe...then She-Ra lets out a <DORKY LAUGH>.

SHE-RA
(giddy)
Wow.

CATRA
Don't ruin it.”
