I think the @weathernetwork.bsky.social has been drinking. We regularly get temp drops more than this, like almost daily all summer long. Earlier this week, we had a 28c high and woke up the next morning to 3c, followed by 26c that day etc. Little Smoky, AB.

Holy crap what a rollercoaster. I sent them an email asking for clarification. They just called and have reopened up my file and put me back on the wait lists. Unfortunately the wait lists are really long now, but at least I'm back on it. So glad I advocated for myself instead of just giving up.

I learned this morning, that after waiting a year for my turn at the bladder clinic in Edmonton, that my file was closed. They said I didn't tell them which treatment path I wanted (I most definitely did) and that I didn't call them during the year wait. That requirement doesn't exist, I checked.

Took 30 week pregnant daughter in for an NST last night, baby had a day of being too quiet so we had to get her checked. Baby fine. But got home 1am and took my PM pills, went to bed. Shot up 15 minutes later when I realized I took my AM pills, including ADHD meds. I sort of slept for 2-3 hours?

Random complaint/question: Why do most frozen berry mixes have strawberries? Costco (Grande Prairie, AB) has been out of their triple berry blend for a couple weeks now. I had to buy separate blue/raspberries but can't find blackberries anywhere. Strawberries are a major migraine trigger. *sigh*

We live in a weird bubble that radar can literally never see. We got at least 8" of fresh snow, most of it last night, and the app just kept saying "snow expected," with the radar showing nothing coming down, though it was SW/NE of us. Happens every snowstorm. #abstorm @weathernetwork.bsky.social

I had an ulnar nerve transposition surgery yesterday on my right elbow. I'm right dominant, in a hard cast for 2 weeks. Trying to do anything 1 handed with my left hand is proving difficult 😂 Thankfully my husband took this next week off work! I'll eventually need my left done as well. Aging sucks!

This was a sad realization. One of the main resources I use to research medical things is the NIH (US) medical studies. It's not as good as having access to what a doctor would, but it's better than trusting AI and FB. Thanks to RFK Jr, I'm finding myself less trusting; what if it's been altered?

1/ I made the mistake of going down a rabbit hole. It's started on Reddit with a post about @wyden.senate.gov calling out the Epstein money trail. Which somehow led to Facebook. Which led to the comment in this image.

A Facebook post complaining about Oregon Senator Wyden helping a pregnant woman apply for asylum, twisting it so that it sounds like people in the country illegally are the reason Americans don't have universal health Care, instead of the fact they're too stupid to vote in the people who could make it happen.

Morning of day 3! I managed 5 hours sleep (2 hours then 3) but still feel like my brain is in a blender. Storm wouldn't eat or drink anything most of yesterday, and I couldn't give her pills until she did, so I threw a giant frozen turkey breast in the instant pot, completely unseasoned.

Watered down the broth it made and she drank that just fine. And she devoured the meat. Then she drank regular water for like 5 minutes straight last night. Also took off the fentanyl patch.

She's feeling much better this morning.

💔 When I lived in Idaho (late 90s - early 00s), Coeur d'Alene held events like kkk parades. The whole state is mentally unstable but that city is a hotbed for the crazy to really congregate. Sorry for the mentally stable stuck in that shit hole.
