My mother used to spin wool and she used the green walnut husks to as a natural dye to get a variety of orange, yellow and orange/brown colours in the wool she spun. Fond memories.

Yes we had a number of walnut trees while I was growing up and in autumn my fingers were permanently stained orange/yellow. And there were always sacks of walnuts hanging from the rafters in our garage drying.

Easy to spot - foreground & background colours of water - angle of incidence = angle of reflection, foreground should reflect sky the background should reflect the landscape beyond the frame. Plus reflection should be less crisp than the actual unreflected portion - light loss during reflection.
