Long story, but I was wronged by someone and also involved an actual criminal enterprise. That person sent me a DM praising me. It took me 3 days to compose the proper response. I did it. I'm not sorry. I'm too old now to put up with this crap. I lived through it, survived and thrived.

I grew up next to a prison, which carried out executions. Even took a HS tour of the prison and sat in Electric Chair. As a reporter, I was told I could witness one. A much older, wiser reporter for state's largest newspaper told me not to do it. "That's something you can't get out of your head."

I'm going on record to say public executions were outlawed in 1936 after a hanging in Owensboro, KY in 1936. A carnival like crowd of 20K assembled. It was decided by public sentiment it was wrong, and never to occur again. Only journalists and victim's families allowed after. 1/2
