I had a quick glance at the Flowerwall shader and it seems to be close to a lot of the stuff that I'm using. I suppose there are only so many ways to skin a pixel. I'll check it out more in depth later. Newpixie or lottes might do what you are looking for

You could try shaderglass. It applies similar shaders in a floating window over whatever art app you are using. mausimus.itch.io/shaderglass what shader are you using in Godot? I used a couple, but needed up making my own crt effect to get it tuned the way I like. brilliant art, by the way!

I'm not even saying one is good and one is bad. They can both work, and they can both be massively profitable. I just think they are incompatible ways of working. The public company model is detrimental to creative works.

I don't think any creative work can actually be successful under the auspice of public company. Not long term anyway. The thought processes that maximize profit and those that maximize human engagement are too far apart. One seeks originality and novelty, the other seeks optimization and uniformity.

A net negative for the world. but you can also use the same tools to scour massive amounts of cancer research... weirdly that sort of work doesn't seem to require a city block worth of power

No, but it's not even entirely on moral grounds. I just think that AI is a bad primary tool for art. It's like painting your walls with a screwdriver. Not inherently a bad tool, but it's actively counterproductive for painting walls. A better screwdriver won't help either. Just not what it's for.

bought a brand new bike to replace my old the rickety one. I was so excited about the new bike that I bunny hopped the old one over a curb taking it to storage. The front wheel fell off and I face planted into the street. Mild concussion, scrapes everywhere, and I still have scars on my knuckles.
