the 4 songs in sequence really feels like a story: falling in love by chance, finding fame together, not wanting to let go, having to hide and be silent, struggling with being apart, and then finally deciding to love boldly (allez aimez!), discover the 🌈 and break the prison 🥹

looking again at the first lines of 异想天开 (flights of fancy): kindred spirits absorbed in each other, seeking comfort; an unplanned romance blossomed. clumsy birds took flight together. the strong wind blows — how did this happen? 😭😭😭😭😭 that's them filming cql wtf

I'm delulu, but to me, the lyrics tell the story of a long-distance love, an unlikely pairing with a peer who flew off first (debuted first?), the pain of having to be silent and apart, and wanting to break out of the prison together 😭

that role changed his life in so many ways... and he loved wwx SO MUCH and had trouble leaving the role 😭😭😭 i also think about how he said that if he had the chance, he would film every scene again... which tells me that he loved the process of filming cql too 🥹🥹🥹

10 years! A whole decade... from 24 to 34, such pivotal years. And what a man he has become. We are so lucky he quit his dayjob to show the world what a superstar he is. Happy 10th anniversary, Xiao Zhan, I know you will shine for many more years to come! ❤️

he teased a concert and an album and now his bf has an EP coming out and maybe a concert too... yiboooo don't leave us hanging

a photo from a post from YBO earlier this year. yibo is wearing a black jacket with cream-colored lacy accents (chanel, probably), a round charm on a thin-chained necklace, and a silver ring on his right ring finger. he's looking off into the distance and holding open a cream colored book with the words "album ready" printed on the front

180

overthinkingthis @overthinkingthis.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

he's the bad boy prince who breaks hearts with a glance, flouts protocol with revealing clothes, and makes the royal staff work overtime... especially to control wild rumors about his dalliances with the hot prince whose dangerous hobbies give his own staff regular heart attacks

a photo from xiao zhan's recent vogue spread. he's wearing a black sweater over a white shirt with a dramatic ruffled collar and dark pin striped pants. his hands are casually crossed over his knee, his hair is perfectly messy, and he's gazing intently into the camera, looking devastatingly handsome. he is sitting in front of a blue-paint-splattered wall.

Sometime in the past week, my total word count on AO3 crossed 600k, which is crazy because I never thought I would write fic, let alone that much. And now it's my 7th year of writing!? I blame these two guys and their ridiculous love story 😭😭😭

A still from the 2019 TTXS episode that Yizhan appeared in. Xiao Zhan is dressed in a blue-grey jumpsuit with his hands clasped in front of and Yibo is dressed in a dark suit with metal accents, his hands clasped behind him. They're staring into each other's eyes and smiling softly. Wang Han is standing in the background and can be seen between them, looking like a minister conducting a wedding ceremony 😭

I'm having so much fun reliving old candy and yelling about it with readers 🥰 Kiss #41 is inspired by the boys each wearing half of the same headset when they were on Produce 101 ❤️💚 archiveofourown.org/works/896245...

photos of the boys when they appeared on produce 101 together. yibo is wearing a red jacket and black polka dotted bow tie, his hair tinted red. he has a green in-ear monitor in his right ear. xiao zhan is wearing a blue and white track jacket and his left hand is raised to touch his ear, which has the other half of the green in-ear monitor set.

i remember yelling when i saw wyb's sdc team wearing this bunny hat and red jackets 🤭

promo poster for street dance of china, featuring a shot of yibo's dance team wearing bright red jackets and white bunny hats that have ears that shoot up when you squeeze the ties that hang down

a photo of xiao zhan (that predates the street dance poster) where he's wearing an identical white bunny hat and squeezing the ties to bounce the ears up.

010

overthinkingthis @overthinkingthis.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

only yizhan can wear too many things at once and make it look good 😅

xiao zhan's new vogue cover. he's wearing a black suit jacket, a grey waistcoat(?), a white shirt with large lapels messily overlapping the waistcoat and coat lapels, and cuffs folded up over the jacket sleeves, a loosely knotted red tie, grey sweatpants(?) and something knotted around his waist (a grey sweatshirt?). there's so much going on, but he manages to look amazing anyway

yibo from his iconic 2020 marie claire photoshoot where he's wearing a black baseball cap, some kind of pink print scarf(?), an orange-y plaid jacket, a black leather motorcycle glove(?) pulled up over one sleeve, a white shirt(?) tucked into the waistband of a light blue denim skirt that is rolled up at the hem to mid-shin. he's also wearing black sweats(?) under the skirt, bunched-up white socks, and white sneakers. there are also accessories of some kind... it's too much of everything, but somehow he pulls it off with this trademark "yeah what of it" facial expression

160

no there was a guc/ci lion head necklace that yb wore at a race just after xz's bday in 2020 and then he couldn't wear it again bc he suffered a crash... and one year later, xz posted photos of him wearing the same necklace with a different color stone 😭 is that the story you were thinking of?
