it's pretty frustrating to see a video on the home page of youtube, misclick the "Includes paid promotion" thing that suddenly appears. this navigates away from the home page, and using the back button shows completely different results on the home page. the one video I was interested is gone now.

I'd love something like this near the menubar with menubar icons that appear whenever there's activity indicators for an app. clicking the indicator opens the app, otherwise cmd+tab to switch between apps/windows.

I honestly haven’t made the time to dive into it yet. I saw it recommended at some point and pulled the trigger. I remembered Peter Norvig from courses at Udacity on AI. I expect it to cover the fundamentals and not get into gen AI. For gen AI, I’ll be going through Karpathy’s videos and fast.ai

yeah that occurred to me after i posted 😅 here's some from ideogram that are a little closer. iirc grok uses flux which doesn't seem to have a problem generating more like off-brand pokemon idk if/when the big multimodal services will compare to specialized models

it made it a lot easier to sync up with a large portion of people I'm familiar with and easier to find people in areas I'm not as familiar with the "Follow All" button isn't so prominent that it pulled my attention away from the people select a person in the list, load their top posts on the right
