iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Also wondering if anyone is going to start up a new forum... I'm still being destroyed by health problems and the doll hobby does not interest me right now because of that. But someday if I ever get into it again I wanna know where to go that isn't fucking instagram 😭

Archiveteam also has it on their Deathwatch. wiki.archiveteam.org/index.php/De... But I don't know if it's guaranteed that they will archive it just because it's on the list.

Unfortunately it would only be the public pages. There's also "Offline Exporer" to do it yourself for $100-250 but I'm not sure if it will work for a forum at all, much less the logged-in-only pages. And there's wget but that's programmer shit I don't understand at all. :(

OK so like who is doing something about backing up Den of Angels? I contacted Archive-It, they charge a fee to make a "snapshot" of a site that gets uploaded to the Wayback Machine. Might be worth it since there are sooo many pages. It starts at $2000 which could pretty easily be crowdfunded IMO

Like I don't feel anything looking at my dolls anymore. And I don't want to make art anymore. It's not real, in the sense that some imbalance is making me this way, but it feels real, so I guess I'm giving up for now. I'll be back when I'm capable of enjoying things 😬

I guess it doesn't matter, right now anyway. Health problems have made me completely uninterested in the hobby. I have no energy for faceups, but even if I did, I was on a med that fucked with my brain & made me want to toss all my dolls & art supplies. I stopped taking it but I still feel nothing.

I finally uninstalled Instagram. I don't know how anyone can put up with it anymore. For every 20 posts, only 6-8 of them are people I follow (yes, I counted). The rest are ads and viral Reels of obnoxious people. And for every 1-2 Stories there are 3-6 ads between. Plus FB being evil and all. 🫠

Congrats on your first faceup! ✨️ Yay! I apply pearl powder on top of the final layers of sealant, then spray it with the lightest hit of sealant possible. It doesn't take much to keep it on, but if you spray over it too much it won't shine anymore.

For reeeeal, dude 😭 I don't even bother with customer service, just do trial and error 😂 (More time consuming but pisses me off less somehow) Godspeed 🤞✨️

I can't use Flashes cos I'm on android 😔 But I thought all photo posts get crossposted both ways? Isn't it just reskinned Bluesky? (I definitely do not understand how it works) The real problem is getting people to come over here! I'm here but I seem inactive because I have nothing to post 😆

I started 3D sculpting and tbh it would be so amazing to make a doll head! But I already know I can't handle the printing, sanding, molding, casting........ so yeah that ain't happening. 😂 I guess I could just get one printed in resin for myself, knowing it won't last forever.

Ever and the bleeding hearts. 🌷 Flowers look a bit Wonderland oversized with Minifee, but we can make that work. 💖 #bjd #balljointeddoll #fairyland #minifee #minifeephoeb

Omg my 20 year anniversary in this hobby is coming up... I think my first doll arrived in December 2005? Or maybe it was 2006. Damn dude. 🥰

Oh my god! I never thought of it that way but you're so right ahahaaaa 😂😭

Yessss!!! 😂 I saw some webby cowl patterns that would be perfect for Paimon, too! And if I get good enough I would love to make some weird sweaters (ones that I'm not brave enough to wear myself.... also I don't wanna pay for all the yarn required to knit a whole human sweater omg).

Well I've pretty much shared all of the old photos I still like, and haven't been taking any new ones oops 😂 I'm just really stressed and tired and setting up for doll pics feels like a lot of work. My new relaxing hobby is knitting though... perhaps I will try to knit some doll stuff hehe.

Ooooo very cool!! Am I seeing a lacy or frosty texture on the wings?

Wow!!! Fairyland has really been nailing it with shoes! ✨️✨️✨️

Saaaameeeeee oh my god I'm so full of dread about it honestly!! And it's really hard to be happy for everyone who's excited about spring raaahhhh 😤 Probably because there's so many of them and they're so vocal about hating winter 😤😤
