I'm for some sort of wealth tax, but a one time, 5% tax is not it. It is like throwing cardboard on a fire. Fun fast flash but no lasting fire.
This is bad policy. The legislature should propose something that we can get behind, like 0.5% forever that pays for universities and trade schools.
