I need that cert now for work so I have to lock in so I can get Level 6. This year's translation project is proving to be difficult and it's the first time I'm this scared but very willing to study again. Being "fluent" truly is different from being a good translator... Especially in documents.

Me going out of the house and not flaking on myself was a huge feat. At the end of the day that exam was just a way to show to myself that I can go back to showing up for her🥲 That exam was on Goyang D3 so I was watching the concert during my commute back home. The bus took 2 hours🫠

For context, the last time I took TOPIK II was in 2018 and that language certification expires every 2 years. I didn't study and got a Level 4 (with Level 6 being the highest). I registered twice in the next few years after that, and didn't show up on both exam days as I felt unprepared.

In other news I took the TOPIK II (Inter-Adv) last month and isn't expecting a high level, so guess what? I registered for TOPIK II on July🤣 I felt like it was a huge step for me last month because clinical depression sucks🫠 I showed up for myself that day and I'm proud.

For Arirang Tokyo D2 I went to the live viewing in a cinema near me. It was the first time I watched a live viewing because I usually just live stream on Weverse. I kid you not when I say I just stood for 1 min in front of the cinema and ARMY started giving me most of these freebies😂😭💜

I was really grateful for these freebies because this cinema didn't give away the souvenirs that many cinemas in other malls and other countries had... I hope I can snag a ticket next time in those cinemas! The journal girlie in me want those tickets lol

The difference in opinions will always be there and they are valid, but I think it's important to know that they have always been trailblazers so they "don't sound like the BTS music you know" each release. These opinions were said during HYYH, LY, Dynamite/Butter/PTD eras as well.

I have the same opinion that it's VERY Bangtan to the core. We've also been listening to their solo work the past few years and you can hear that synergy in ARIRANG. I think it's a good peek at who they are now and what they truly want to say after much introspection and experiencing new things.

This year will have another exception as one of my friends is getting married on June 19th. At least the Busan concerts are done by that time haha During concerts in my city I usually stay in a hotel/AirBnB and enjoy a time off of at least 3-4 days. I want to live in the moment.

Indeed the price of being a villager is inconvenience, but it's worth it. Slept over for 6 days during the month, and it was fun. First sleepover together as adults. We'll be meeting up tomorrow again before she flies back to Tokyo. I already miss her. I love her sfm huhu
