Don't have much wisdom to provide going into 2026, but just wanting to set some goals for the new year. Beat my goal of 12 books in 2025 with 16 books. Shooting for 24 books in 2026 On the gaming side, wanting to focus on retro games on some older gaming systems with retroachievements.

Completed my fifth out of eight attempts of writing a 50K novel in November. Going to let this one stew until the new year and look at seeing if I can edit it to make it actually presentable.

Final day of NovNov. Only have about 600 words left to reach 50k. This will be my 5th completion in 8 attempts over the years,

Crossed the 40K mark this morning in my writing for November. Still plenty of story left in my head so pretty sure I'll finish up this year. Still not sure what to do after this - shelf it for a later day edit/re-write or start working on it immediately after the holidays.

Spot on. And for a twist I’ll drink a cherry 7-up.

I had to turn on the heat this morning. I’m not happy about it.

My boy! I was not expecting to get him in ZA.

Normally a water starter, but with my plant hobby felt that I needed to go Grass this time.

The most unrealistic thing about Pokemon Legends ZA is letting some stranger install apps on my rotom phone.

Really? That is who won Big Brother? The only she did was aligned herself with the ones that did all the work.

I hope so. He's a great kid with lots of potential. I just hope that Spurs front office will do what it takes to get the squad into the top 4 again.

I can’t pass up discounted trees at stores that are just crying out for a home with some sunlight to shine on it. Sudowoodo, the ginseng ficus, feels right at home after a repotting. #plantdad #beginnerbonsai

To the world: We are fighting back. Our movement has been silenced by the media here—but we are not backing down. This is what our streets looked like across multiple cities. Tomorrow, there will be more of us! Raise a glass to freedom. —With love, Your American allies.

Anything that I missed in the Steam NextFest? I was out all weekend and didn't get a chance to try. Anything I have to try today?

Thinking about restarting my Animal Crossing island over after having the original island since day 1 of release. But thinking it might be a good therapeutic game for the next couple of years.
