Part 1 of 5 — Intro Here’s my photo backup & publishing workflow with Little Backup Box (LBB) — from automatic backups to photo review and posting. Full process below #Photography #SelfHosted #Backup #Workflow #LittleBackupBox

Part 2 of 5 I first plug in the SSD (target), then power on my Little Backup Box (LBB). After boot, I connect all cameras, phones, and card readers with memory cards via a USB hub. The automatic "any USB" → "USB" backup starts right away (as set in web UI). #Photography #Backup #LittleBackupBox

Part 3 of 5 My LBB first copies all connected devices to the SSD. Then it runs a cloud backup "USB" → "sFTP" (as configured in web UI)). Previews are generated meanwhile. Local copy takes minutes; cloud upload can last all night. #OpenSource #Automation #Photography #LittleBackupBox

Part 4 of 5 When I’ve got time, I disable auto cloud backup. Then at first I review and rate photos via the LBB web UI on my phone — ratings sync with darktable. At the same time I mark favorites for Mastodon, Bluesky and Telegram, publish them, then start the cloud backup manually. #Photography
