Our Flag Means Omegaverse @ourflagomegaverse.bsky.social · 26/12/2024One of our prompts is "Same presentation" and what does that look like? Whoo boy, take a look at THIS story! Wonderfully done, fully steamy and fun as heck with alphas Ed/Stede and transbeta Izzy. archiveofourown.org/works/410930... 020
Our Flag Means Omegaverse @ourflagomegaverse.bsky.social · 25/12/2024Alpha!Stede buys a new fluffy blanket for the couch, five seconds later it's gone and Omega!Ed is burrowed in their nest with it. "Mate, we both knew it was gonna end up in here, I'm just speedin' up the inevitable." Literally so many fluffy things you can barely see Ed. 091
Our Flag Means Omegaverse @ourflagomegaverse.bsky.social · 22/12/2024Only 433 of over 30k stories are omegaverse. We're gonna change that. #OFMDOmegaWeek 050
Our Flag Means Omegaverse @ourflagomegaverse.bsky.social · 22/12/2024Still intimidated by how things work? Make it up! That's literally the trick. You can get crazy detailed with your idea or keep it vague, both are valid and work great! It intimidated me with my first story, but once I dove in I found it was a lot more forgiving than I realized. 091
Our Flag Means Omegaverse @ourflagomegaverse.bsky.social · 22/12/2024Just a quick thing. Please use Omegaverse or A/B/O. Using just the initials is actually a racial slur in some parts of the world that I wasn't aware of when I first found the omegaverse (Hence why I prefer to use that term myself) 1279
Our Flag Means Omegaverse @ourflagomegaverse.bsky.social · 22/12/2024Okay! I think those are all really basic outlines of the omegaverse for folks who might be new to it, but if I missed anything just comment or DM me and I'll try and answer. :D The goal is to just have fun, you can make it angsty and whumpy, sweet and fluffy, however you want to play it. 030
Our Flag Means Omegaverse @ourflagomegaverse.bsky.social · 22/12/2024Okay, so let’s talk about why people call the omegaverse ‘werewolf lite’. There are some fun takes in the universe that can be odd and interesting to play with. Some have omegas and alphas have sharp canines and claws as a part of their physiology. 1/ 110
Our Flag Means Omegaverse @ourflagomegaverse.bsky.social · 22/12/2024What the heck are pups? In the omegaverse it's pretty common to use the term 'pups' rather than children/babies. The best explanation I got for omegaverse early on was 'werewolf lite' and some of that is shown in the terms. Not all fics use the term pups, either. 030
Our Flag Means Omegaverse @ourflagomegaverse.bsky.social · 22/12/2024What is a nest? Soft blankets, pillows, pillowy duvets, their beds are designed for comfort. Some fics have alphas and omegas both have nests, some have just omegas, whatever it is, imagine it as the best, most secure place in the world you'd want to curl up and share with someone special. 030
