A short Deltarune comic. Susie begins to put on Ralsei’s hat from chapter 1, looking mischievous. She says “Heh, Ralsei, I got your hat!” Ralsei turns around to look at her. When she puts the hat on, she becomes only a dark silhouette, like Ralsei does when they wear the hat. She jumps back, surprised, and yells “What the hell?! Who turned out the lights?!” Ralsei looks on bashfully and says “Oh, that’s my shadowcloak hat…”

In a bonus comic in black and white, susie, still in shadow form, bashfully muses to herself “damn. I do look pretty badass tho. I wonder…” She climbs up on a ladder so that she can drop the hat on an unexpecting Kris as they pass by. They look up curiously as the hat falls onto their head, and then in a dramatic splash panel the hat lands and they take on their shadow form, a menacing dark shape with just a single glowering red eye. Susie sees this and remarks “why so goddamn scary??”

Kris kneels, leaning on their sword, defeated. They are surrounding by darkness with only a harsh spotlight shining down on them. Within the spotlights light the words “don’t forget…” can be seen. As Kris kneels there, motionless, their friends come in from the shadow, illuminated by the spotlight. Susie, Ralsei, Noelle, and Berdly kneel with them and come in to hold them. After them, emerging from the light, come Asriel and Dess in the knight’s armor. They all lean in to hug Kris under the spotlight which has grown warmer and brighter. Kris accepts their care, bearing their teeth and shedding a few tears.

But, mister Honey, what if a strong gust of wind throws us off balance?!” She suddenly erupts in terror, “DEAR CELESTIALS DON’T LET IT BE SO!!!” Honey feigns offense, saying “Gasp! Ripply, I’m surprised at you! You assume my flying skills are that faulty?!” Ripply is scared that she’s hurt Honey’s feelings and immediately begins to apologize. “Wh- nonono!! That’s not what I was insinu—“ she says, before Honey cuts her off. “D’oh! I’m only kidding you! I know you meant no ill-will.”

A deltarune comic written by fill-2-kill and illustrated by ourAmateur. In the cold place in chapter 3, the knight regards Kris’s dark fountain, hand on ‘chin,’ seemingly appraising their work. Kris approaches slowly before offering up a bar of chocolate. Flavor text reads: “(December’s favorite. Tastes like sugar and disobedience.)” The knight does not turn to look at them, and instead raises their blade. In a powerful slash, like that seen at the end of the knight fight, the knight deftly snaps the raised chocolate bar in half. The two share their halves of the chocolate in silence, separated by the flowing dark fountain in the foreground— the knight morphs its head to that of a deer skull and begins to eat, and kris looks on at them solemnly. Narration reads: “(A memory echoes in your ears…) ‘we’re both rebels, Kirs. You wanna know how I know that? ‘Cuz rebels love sneaking chocolate behind everyone’s backs.”

A Deltarune Comic feature kris and Dess. In a memory, Dess with her head out of frame pats a young Kris on the head and tussels their hair. Noelle looks on and laughs and Dess removes her hand as Kris smiles. Jumping forward, an older Kris is alone, surrounded by darkness, and looking troubled. Then, in the dark world, a hand returns to pat them on the head again. It’s the Roaring Knight, their head out of frame. Kris leans forward to hug them, their head hung low. The knight receives this hug, standing still with their hand still on Kris’s head.
