If you've ever tried to explain to a Git user why Jujutsu is worth it, this might help. I wrote it for people who've only ever used Git. #jj-vcs juju-chu.com/blog/15years...

15 Years of Git, Then Jujutsu: Why I Can’t Go Back: Juju-chu! Blog
Once AI started writing most of my code, I left 15 years of Git behind for Jujutsu (jj). Here are four reasons I can’t go back: saving, experimenting, rewriting history, and how the log shows history.

Jujutsu 0.45 introduced `jj converge`, a smart new command that resolves divergent changes for you. I tried it and the developer experience is great, so I've already rewritten the "divergent changes" entry in my book's troubleshooting chapter! #jj-vcs juju-chu.com

Jujutsu 0.44.0 finally supports pushing tags, so I've removed the "Pushing tags" entry from the "🤔 What Can Git Do That Jujutsu Can't?" section of my book! #jj-vcs juju-chu.com

A skill alone didn't keep my coding agents on Jujutsu. A skill loads when a task calls for it, but "use jj, not git" needs to hold for the whole session. Wrote up the rules I settled on, for Claude Code and Codex. #jj-vcs juju-chu.com/agent-config

Make Your Coding Agent Use Jujutsu Instead of Git: Juju-chu!
Project-level configs that make Claude Code and Codex CLI use Jujutsu instead of Git—and keep them from falling back to Git mid-task.

Big news: Martin (the author of Jujutsu) just joined ersc.io as CTO! Can we start dreaming about a jj-native forge for individuals now? 👀 #jj-vcs www.linkedin.com/posts/benjam...

this book is a work of art, I have no regrets
"Oh no, no, no, no..!!" Kanae cried.
Yukina looked up. "What's with the sudden outburst? What happened?"
"I had Codex writing some code for me, and I forgot to commit my previous changes before giving it another prompt. Then it overwrote my existing files with changes I never asked for, and now I can't get them back..."
"Ah, the AI agent tax. If you were on Claude Code, you could roll it back with the /rewind command. But Codex CLI doesn't have anything equivalent."
"Lately Codex has been faster and better at powering through tough problems, so I've been favoring it. I should've just stuck with Claude Code..."

I published a book about Jujutsu! 📗 “Juju-chu!” is a hands-on guide to Jujutsu (jj), the Git-compatible VCS for AI coding workflows. Learn how jj helps with agent output: automatic commits, powerful undo, and cleaning up messy changes. Free 43-page sample: leanpub.com/juju-chu #jj-vcs
