J'adore lire sur la culture des crêpes en bretagne à partir d'une page de vulgarisation dans un manga. (Shinmai Shimai no Futari Gohan)

Crepes are well known as the representative snack of harajuku's takeshita street, but filling them with whipped cream and ice cream is actually a practice unique to japan.
The most likely theory about the origin of crepes places it in ancient france, in the region of brittany.
This region was hot and had frequent rains, making it hard to grow wheat there.
Thus the locals mainly ate dishes made with buckwheat instead. one day, some buckwheat gruel fell onto a heated rock by chance and was baked into the shape of a flatbread
They tried it and found it" very delicious.

The old french word for rock is "gal", and so this dish was named galette.
During the reign of louis xiii, his wife queen anne took an interest in galette.
It was taken into royal cuisine, and in the process, became known all over france. in the 16th century, crepes appeared, substituting buckwheat flour with wheat flour. now they are only known as thin pankakes, but back then crepe was the word used to distinguish between cakes made with wheat versus buckwheat
Crepes became popular in japan in the 1670s. and so a crepe store opened in harajuku in 1677. this was when the japanese crepe, filled with whipped cream and ice cream, was born.
It was covered by women's magazines, grew more and more popular, and before long everyone knew about it.
At first, it was only ordered and consumed inside the store, but then a food cart was set up, and it" became the snack you could eat while walking, wherever you go.
If you'd like to make the perfectly shaped crepe, you'll want a spreader. you'll have a hard time spreading the batter so thinly and evenly without one.
It takes a bit” of practice, but that's nothing compared to the beautiful crepes you'll have. you can get one for about 5$, so if you're interested in making crepes, please give it a try!

La marine française qui publie des affiches de recrutement colonial sur leur page insta sans donner leur contexte (ici de vichy 1942) La politisation de nos militaires :3

Petite observation marrante, sur certains chêne on peut voir des frelons européens nuit et jour sur une branche, et en m'approchant on peut voir de petits trous d'où suinte une sève noirâtre (à priori c'est la maladie de l'encre, pas mortel pour les chênes).

Ecorce d'un chêne, on peut voir un petit trou où il y a un genre de résine noirâtre au fond

Pêcher+cerisier=pêchrisier (pas sûr que ça survive, c'est vréééément pas vigoureux).
