It's funny how we've colloquially accepted 'Talons' to fill a plot hole in our communal lexicon. Can't call them bird feet because we have a purely fictional existence of bird 'feet' strong enough that its use overrides our factual understanding. But nor are they talons, not as far as we call'em.

While I do tend to put a lot of focus on the stompers when it comes to macro, the grabbers are just as valid Just something about the impending reach of a much, much larger beast accelerating forward just to realize how much smaller you really are to them 😰
