Thinking a lil bit about the lesbian lore again. #RoxanneMercier

(Roxanne being a lesbian) is kind of impossible to ignore because her heart is always on her sleeve. She carries her ideals everywhere. She's always flirtatious but gallant, and chronically helps those in need. She had this youthful dream of being the hero, and not the damsel. She wanted to be a knight like in the stories.

Women in Ishgardian folklore are always emphasized by their femininity, yet the people worship a goddess of war. Even the few tales of female knights like Valentione were celebrated for stories of compassion and love rather than prowess. Roxanne saw these contrasts and went, "Why can't I be both?"

Hell, this extends to how Roxanne even views the Fury. Orthodox Halone worship almost always emphasizes her vengeful, bellicose nature and downplays her compassionate and egalitarian aspects. Yet the Heaven of Ice is also represented by Menphina, the Lover. Why is Halone not a lover *and* a fighter?

Does a knight not fulfill their oath to the Fury by championing a woman's femininity and all that entails? Not only their love and compassion, but their protectiveness and will to defend? Women wield love as both a spear *and* shield.

At least, that's how Roxanne thinks. It's pretty simple to her.

Something I love about Halmarut's design that feeds into how I see her when I load her model in gpose and have her smile, it feels very gentle and almost forlorn, but that same smile from another angle can look smug and insincere, like she's hiding what she really thinks, and that's kinda neat.

Chrys, nude, save for a pair of sneakers. Being nude except for a pair of shoes is a next-level kind of exhibitionism. Complete nudity is sometimes spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment thrills. Naked with shoes is a special kind of premeditated kind of nudity. You had the time to get dressed but didn't, you made specific preparations to go out wilding for the long-haul. Outdoor nudity is only as erotic as you make it, it's a natural form of being for some, but this is Chrys we're talking about. This concludes my TED-talk.

Honey B. Lovely, hair undyed, ready to duke it out in the Arcadion. She's wearing a far simpler outfit, but still in her iconic yellow and black, consisting of a trendy track jacket, pair of short shorts, a single thigh-high compression stocking, and her pair of beloved boots passed down in her family to her. It's one of her few bits of her heritage she's proud to show off. It's far more practical than the much more cutesy idol outfits she'll be known to wear in the the ring.
