A few years ago I “retired” from a Fortune 500 company. I took with me $1M in company stock which I gave to a financial mgr. I’m no longer bullish about. I was 48. In three years he turned it into half of the original value. I baled. The moral of the story is… I should have gone into politics.

I shop at Lowe’s. A lot! It amazes and baffles me that the excuse for having self-checkout is that it will save money. And yet, for four checkout stations they have two employees monitoring the stations and also have at least one employee who helps people having issues with the checkout.
