All things considered, 2025 was a pretty good year! Despite some major setbacks I accomplished a lot in a lot of important ways. I'm cherishing my family and friends and entering 2026 in a much better place than I entered 2025. I've got some exciting things lined up and can't wait to share them!!!

In happier news, I was able to finish Morsh's fursuit head in time for pride! I started it back in... February? Most of that time was spent figuring out how to print TPU and tinkering with my printer. In the future, I think I'd stick to using a foam base. I got a lot of compliments on it! Yippee!

I do sometimes wish that I spent more time working in mediums that lend themselves to shorter projects. It can be disheartening to see artists posting doodles when code/3D/fursuits look like shit for most of the project and have 'hidden' work that takes up so much of the time...

Craftable Mannequins and PooltoyZ have been updated for Project Zomboid Build 42 and are still backwards compatible with Build 41! Took longer than I expected, but they're fairly light mods!

i finally beat monster hunter: world! i played through most of it a few years ago but my friends were bitching that playing with the bow meant i was playing on easy mode.. i am now a longsword enjoyer. i cannot imagine playing this game without a counter. iceborne awaits.

spent some time today figuring out how to update my zomboid mods from build 41 -> 42. there is NO documentation so it's been fun/frustrating reversing and grepping through the source code to figure out what's changed.. thankfully neither mod is too complicated! shouldn't end up taking too long.

I've also been thinking more about 3D printing fursuit head bases... I haven't worked with TPU before but it seems like a good option for a base. The biggest issue would be the initial investment of getting a direct drive and more material... Might be time to prototype with PLA...

finished feetpaws.. almost! my clippers are too weak to shave this fur so a lot of the detail is lost.. but it'll be there when i get some new blades. i thought a lot of the pieces were too small to machine sew, but I ended up using this as practice and it saved me a lot of time!
