Pleasant late summer weather yesterday. Bella shows off the smile of a dog awaiting her own hot dog. #dogsofbluesky

A gray staffy/pitbull mix dog is settled nicely on her mat in an outdoor seating area. She gazes up adoringly at the photographer knowing this person should reward her with a hotdog.

Our Bella enjoyed the Walk & Wag event for @hshv.bsky.social last weekend! #dogsofbluesky

A grey pitbull mix dog sits on the grass and smiles. She is wearing a purple kerchief. Behind her is a yard sign that reads “Thank you for supporting Walk and Wag - HSHV’s largest fundraiser of the year!”

Baked potato pup season is upon us. #dogsofbluesky

A grey and white staffy mix dog gazes out a window. She is in full sun with criss cross shadows falling over her.

Happy Gotcha Day to Bella! We adopted this good girl five years ago. A pup cup for our sweetie!

A grey and white dog licks whipped cream from a pup cup held by an offscreen person. She is focused on her task!

Bella is sharing a blanket on the couch with me. I love her puppy snores.

Close up of a sleeping grey pittie/staffie mix nestled in a blanket. She is cozy and softly snoring.

Take a break. Enjoy the sunshine with the flowers and the bees. #calm #pollinators #garden

Good thing good dog Bella isn’t afraid of thunder.

Gray pitbull/staffy dog snoozes peacefully on a couch. She is undisturbed by the sound of jet planes but will be at high alert if a chip bag crinkles.

My #Tea4T pet arrived! This lovely little friend was made by Shirley Jackson. Thank you @lioninthetrees.bsky.social and thanks to organizers @shing.bsky.social and @leslielevings.bsky.social !

A small sculpture of an orange ceramic fox sits on a card. Part of the card text reads: “Your Tea Friend was made by Shirley Jackson”

Heart worm treatment is hard. Puzzle toys, lick mats, meds, and reassurance that it isn’t going to be for always. Bella is rooting for Diamond!

Post a warning.

A sign shows a person sitting on an elephant with a red circle crossed out overlay. Words beneath read “Please do not touch, nor sit on the elephant.” (The elephant in question was a statue.)

Happy Bellantine’s Day! We adopted Bella on Valentine’s Day four years ago. She is a sweetheart. 🩷 #dogsofbluesky

A grey pitbull/staffy mix dog looks up at the camera earnestly. She has white markings on her feet, cute flopped ears, and is wearing a reddish sweater.

February 3 is National Golden Retriever Day! This is reason enough to share this statue of a very good dog that I photographed near Tomich in Scotland. Dudley Marjoribanks (aka Lord Tweedmouth) was the first to breed Golden Retrievers in that area in the 1800s. #GoldenRetrieverDay

A life-size bronze statue of a Golden Retriever sits on a brick pedestal. It is a spring day and the good dog looks as if they were content to sit and watch over the Scottish estate where their breed originated.

If you see this post, quote with a bridge from your gallery. The Carrbridge Packhorse Bridge over the River Dulnain is in the village of Carrbridge, Scotland. Shown here on a lovely day in May 2024.

A very old stone bridge arches over a calm river on a spring day. The river water looks clear and the sky is bright blue.

Post a picture you took (no description, but alt text always!) to bring some zen to the timeline

Walk now.

Flop eared pit bull looms over iPad with a look that says she wants attention and screens should not stand in her way.

I am a traveler seeking haven in these strange times.

A dark gray Staffie/Pittie dog sits swaddled in a fleece blanket resembling a cloak. She looks as if she is patiently awaiting instructions, perhaps a quest.
