Fortunately we can close the US border if they have too many infected travellers hitting Canada. Once they petri dish themselves down a few hundred million people, there will be a lot less stupidity to contend with, I'm sure. I'm willing to wait and see. Best of luck to Alberta eh.

Keep a positive outlook, most things that look terrifying, aren't as bad as initial perception makes them seem. Conservatives did degrade national defence in a big way but we started the turn around under PMJT. There's a long way to go, but Canada can make Afghanistan look like a piknik.

There's manufacturers in every market. Canadian companies have the low carbon system that makes us more than competitive compared to the EU's CBAM levels of taxation on imports. So if any country can make the big splash in Europe, it's Canada eh.

Geographically, we are a massive nation with trillions of places for armed opposition to hide, a rather unpleasant winter & 1.6 million registered hunters.
