As one who was lead singer in various bands, including a Led Zeppelin tribute for seven years, I can 100% confirm this is true. It creates a positive feedback loop, although an empty venue can lead to the opposite result. I've seen audiences from single digits to several thousand.

Yup. Almost no/one makes this valid comparison. And solar panels don’t leak methane from old uncapped drill sites. At average methane leakage rates, 10,000 abandoned wells will have a near-term climate impact equivalent to 20,000 cars on the road each year

Do you realise, if we dredge up every historic rape that went unpunished, sacked the perpetrators and those who let them off, we'd lose most senior politicians, several world leaders, about half the police, lawyers, and judiciary, and a vast swathe of academia, right? I can't think of a downside.

Of course this is only a graph of taxation of the whole economy, right? It can't possibly cover the appalling inequality of tax paid by the poorest as a percentage of disposable income which in some cases is more than 100% – compared with the tax paid by some billionaires of 0%
