The new dread is complete! Pivot under the arm allows major posing while not too far from the arm (took inspiration from gunpla shields here) I think a punching style shield fits this so much better!

Yrda, a Legio Custodes dreadnought surviving into the adeptus custodes, armed with an axe and shield which is mounted as a striking weapon rather than a defensive item.

3D Items printed on elegoo saturn ultra 4 12k with Siraya tech fast tough navy grey resin at default settings, cleaned in 91% isopropal alcohol in ultrasonic cleaner for 3 minutes then cured in rotating station for 20 minutes.

Well I woke up at 3am and had to do something, so here it is my Custodes Contemptor Exemplar Dreadnought, or venerable for 40k. Probably still going to do a melta cannon and maybe less fancy version for marines.

The collection for dreads so far. Going to do a new sword grip variant so the newer plastic hand can hold easily. The rotary cannon should be magnetizable easily but it's a moot point with that variant being cast into the shadow realm that is legends. printer maintenance worked wonderfully though

4 custodian dreadnought weapons with 2 broken into sub-assembly parts. A sword with hand already on it, an axe, a 4 barreled cannon with forearm, and a lance with a long blade to the fore and running down the upper half of the grip.

All items are 3D prints from an elegoo Saturn ultra 4 12k done in siraya fast tough navy grey resin.

Parts are designed for a plastic custodes dreadnought and are sized to fit plastic hands around grips. Cannon designed to fit onto upper arm flawlessly.

New set of weapons for a new squad, well some new some tweaked and some moved. Mace is coming over from another set, axe is new, thin sword had it's blade tweaked and kukri/falcata had it's entire hilt redone. #Heresy #HorusHeresy #BloodAngels #Ofanim

A series of weapons starting with a hollow tipped teardrop shaped shortspear, next an oversized kukri resembling a falcata, then a flanged mace with claw like flanges, an axe with a wing shaped back spike, a thin saber like weapon with sharp curves, and lastly a katana styled blade on european longsword hilt.

All weapons are show with bluish steel, and enlayed with red and gold and teardrop motifs.

Progress shot of one of my 16 Custodian models for the NOVA open. I have 3 lists for zone mortalis, 2 custodes and 1 blood angels and I'm super eager to get models on the table again.

Oh and for the record the $300 wasn't the only issue, I've also replaced the power supply once, the charge port once and it needs replacing again. All in all if I did the new repairs I would've spent a 30% of new retail cost in UNDER 3 years on this thing Were it a car it would be a lemon almost.

So my design rig's keyboard broke and it was gonna cost me some $300 to replace and I have no place in my home to use an external keyboard. So I've decided to say to hell with HP and ordered an Asus and it should be here next week and hopefully I can just swap my drives. Wish me luck.

These printed beautifully with only 1 support and 2 branches in FDM. Bottoms have some small droops with no supports so I'm testing mass supported now. Resin had all sorts of supports to clean so I tried this. Also changed this file to have zero supports and same errors but beautiful from above!

A space marine scale frag grenade produced in gray PLA on a Bambu P1S printer in 3 parts. The pin's ring is free floating and loose retained by the 3rd piece which holds it with just a bit of superglue.

I weep for you, yes this would be a problem. I've lived in a few places with no AC (Texas in the 80s, Panama in the 90s, Central Asia in the 2010s) It can be horrific at times and often dangerous. I hate climate change, give me stability.

Really? Window units over here are just set on the window sill (maybe 2 person job) and close window to secure it, cover the sides (some units have parts to do this) and plug in. Did they over complicate them in more recent years?

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of non collaborators who survived and prospered between 1944 and 1991, yes it wasn't good by any means, violence, brutality. But Soviet rule was much worse usually involving far more dead, and yes that was what was going to happen if the communist partisans succeeded

I just replaced my camera, jumped 6 years in tech so I know the feeling. I think the quad mortars are resin also? they have the shallow muzzles due to resin casting rather than the empty barrels of plastic. Also isn't there a Praetor launcher in the back?

Agree to disagree. Also again being clear, not imagination that flat out that what Stalin did to people under his hand was so much worse than anything Greece has gone through since. I'm not saying that it's been good since WWII, but 100% you can be sure, not imagine it, would've been worse under him
