Was trying to find someone to make a logo for my game via Fiverr or Upwork, but it's all just AI generated... Anyone got any recommendations for someone? Looking to get a logo for my Mahjong game and would prefer a real person :D (paid)

While we've gotten affirming feedback on Engine Angel, pitching unfortunately hasn't been successful. As a result, we've had to make the hard decision to lay off five team members. Each of these devs are incredible: if you have a place on your team, or know someone hiring, please keep them in mind!⬇

- 2nd GDC - The record collection grew - Played lots of cool games - Canada trip, Big Bear trip Florida trip Still looking for full-time work in games! I have an offer for something outside of games, but I'm not too keen on it. But if that's what I gotta do for now, so be it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2025 had it's fair shares of ups and downs. Some highlights: - Successful Kickstarter campaign for Wicked Fox Games - Launched an indie game on Steam for Plutonium Powered - Got to help out in a small capacity for Wonderstorm's Kickstarter campaign - GF visited, traveled a lot together

The only game I will be buying during the Steam Winter Sale is the Snoopy game and I will not be taking any comments.

Can't believe Geoff Keighley let Octopath Traveler 2 be nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards for the third year in a row.

Steam Controller: Awesome, I'll take 2 Steam Machine: I would be more interested if I hadn't already built a Bazzite htpc. But it's still neat Steam Frame: Too bad I'm not big on VR because this seems like it rocks

In terms of what it's offering for the price, it's a great deal of savings over the old All Access! I've only bought the Expo pass for the last 2 years because I'm cheap, so seeing the cheapest option be more expensive now raises a brow for me haha Can always hanging in the park for free!

David Koster | 🀄 Wishlist Everybody MAHJONG! @oteresk.bsky.social · 23/10/2025

So GDC pass structures changed but it's overall more expensive? The cheapest option was $299 in 2024 and $249 in 2025, now the cheapest option is $449 if you're an indie studio and even then those are limited with asterisks? Otherwise it's $649 at the cheapest...

new GDC pass types.
Festival ($649)
Game Changer ($1499)
Early Stage Indie & Startup ($449)
Digital ($799)

Refusing to stop using the Xbox 360 controller as long as I can on PC. The newer Xbox controllers cramp my hands and was never comfortable with the PlayStation ones either. Today replaced that awful stock d-pad with this 3d printed solution and much better already :)
