Update: Amber's officially sleeping in the streets now. She has no money for a place to stay or even food, and if she doesn't get enough to pay off the upcoming bill she gets bimonthly for the fine her family put under her name, she'll be forced to go to court. Please keep sharing & donating.

hey quick question when were ANY of you going to tell me they put UltraMantis in magic the gathering (this rules oh my god)

Official Magic: The Gathering card called "Slaying Mantis." Half of the card is a beautiful art piece of a human-sized praying mantis with somewhat-human proportions, little buggish fingers instead of scythes, a full-head luchador mask (with its antennas sticking out of 2 holes at the top), a gauntlet on each of its 4 wrists, and a wrestling boot at the end of each of its 2 legs. It's diving over (or off of?) a wooden fence that contains three goblins (also wearing wrestling-esque garb) who are each holding weapons, are much tinier than the mantis (not even the size of its torso), and are looking up at the giant mantis above them with all the fear you'd expect from 3 little jobbers in a squash match like this. Slaying Mantis is clearly going to land in a way that drops both of its right elbows onto these suckers.

Text on the rest of the card reads:

Update: Amber asked me to share these pics today, explaining that she's being expected to pay >$3000 in fines due to damage done by her family using her name and credit info. We've increased the GFM goal accordingly but may need to increase it more; she has 0 money for food currently.

i checked in on the neopets account i made when i was 10 and somehow photobucket still kept my old art up. i cannot tell you how happy i am to see it. i threw out ALL of my old art when i was a teenager & im forever upset about it. this is likely the only childhood art of mine that exists anymore.

An old hand-drawn, hand-inked, digitally-colored piece of childhood art. It shows a Christmas Bori: a four-legged Neopet with mostly-round ears with pointed tips and a lion-like tail, along with a segmented shell on its back. Unlike a regular Bori, this one's ears are both flopped down and are over twice as large. His fur is white except for the green shell, tuft at the tip of his tail, top half of his ears, and bottoms of his clawed paws. He wears small, completely-black sunglasses over his eyes and a red-and-green-striped scarf around his neck. There are two round red circles in the tuft of his tail, meant to be holly berries. His legs are particularly hairy and the top of his head is particularly fluffy. My old username, "owner of lost dreams," is written in plain black font.

Old hand-drawn, hand-inked, digitally-colored art of two kacheeks, a Neopet that has a pikachu-like body with short nubby arms, big pawed feet with no legs, downward-facing ears, and a long fluffy tail. Here, though, these Kacheeks have no visible mouths and have human proportions, including fingered-hands, which the two are holding. The left Kacheek is colored like a rainbow, smiling with her eyes, which have long prominent eyelashes. Her tuft of hair goes upward, her tail is yellow with a white tip, and her little nose is black. She wears a t-shirt with a black peace symbol and a brown skirt. The Kacheek on the right has black fur with grey accents in various areas: the bottoms of his paws/feet, a circle around his eye, the entirety of his hands, the tip of his tail, his throat, and his downward-facing tuft of hair. His shirt is a deep maroon color and his pants are a deep blue. My old username is again written in plain black font.

Old hand-drawn, hand-inked, digitally-colored art of what was supposed to be a Baby Wocky — a wide, four-legged, cat-like Neopet with a distinct "mane" of big fluffy fur around its neck. This particular Wocky is instead very thin, and the neck ruffle is very small and not particularly fluffy-looking. Her ears are pointed more downward and placed in a way that makes her head look more like a Kacheek than a Wocky. Her tail is longer and thinner than a typical Wocky's and is also shaped more like that of a Kacheek's. Her mouth is not visible, but her nose is a black triangle, and her eyes are amber with big black shining pupils in a way meant to be like a cute "puppy-dog" kind of look. Her fur color is pastel yellow with bright magenta on the tips of her ears, paws, and tail. Her neck-ruffle is the same magenta, as is a blobby marking on her tail probably meant to resemble a crescent moon (but is very thick).

i have never felt more "saying absolutely everything i can to piss people off and get blocked" than i do right now with the bio I've written after seeing 2 specific users (in an otherwise wonderful community!) bitch and moan about "political nonsense" @ the users having BLM/trans rights/etc in bios
