Finally got to seeing Meitantei Pretty Cure 31. What an episode, I'm happy with how this arc settled. I also finished Carranger today, and all I got to say is Absolute Television.

Man, Zeztz is over now. Loved the finale, though it's pretty blatantly trying to get you to see the movie... Which I can't until it's on home video and fan subbed. Either way, ready to see what MY-TH has to offer.

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Welp, I've watched the new GDAMM Remaster trailer a dozen times now, the addiction is obvious.

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

Ultraman Zero Cosmo Rise special is out, and it was about what I expected, ie mostly action with only slight story. But being a Sakamoto directed special the action was thrilling, and I'm always weak to legacy gimmicks. Grigio and Boy worked hard too.

I needed to think about Cure Eclair's debut for a bit since it was a lot to unpack, especially regarding Luluka's true motives and the set up for the next arc. The fight with Usonoir was of course epic too!

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Omegahorn premiere was a lot of fun, world building was consistent and I like how Shout just wants to explore the world. Enkaku being a fish out of water is fun, and I love how well his true form is executed. As for that last shot, I guess it's time for Project RED to deliver on its premise...

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Forgot about the new Gundam announcement for today, XARX Zero looks like it'll be interesting. Also finally got to see Meitantai Precure 25, needless to say I got spoiled on the reveal but liked how it played out.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Man, wasn't expecting Gavan Infinity to leave its story unfinished like that, but considering what Omegahorn has going on it might pick up there? We'll have to see.

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

M6 G-Fest is over, all there is now is homecoming.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Ultraman Day already huh? Time flies, but Happy 60th anniversary, Ultraman! 8 forgot because I was heading to G-Fest all day, but I did catch the Minus Zero teaser. Not much new added, but ominous wording always gets me hyped. Can't wait til November.

010

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

I was expecting some emotional stuff from Ultraman Teo's 1st ep, but realistic PTSD and devastating loneliness where really front and center, weren't they? The fight at the end was really well shot as well.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

Today is America's 250th. I feel apathy. Ultraman's 60th, on the other hand? Hysteric levels of hype.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Got to the 1st ep of Kaiju Girl Caramelize, love seeing the first few chapters in motion. Been collecting the manga for a while, so I'm glad an anime adaptation is here now so more people might check it out.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Every new piece of news I hear from Sony just pisses me off even more, what do you mean we won't get physical game releases anymore?

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

Unscientific Super Robot Wars

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

As much as I'm enjoying all of the hype building up to Cure Eclair's debut, I'm terrified at the notion that the remains 3 candidates will just vanish from the narrative afterword. They have the makings of a strong supporting cast and I'd hate to see that potential go unused.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

My time off for G-Fest is finally approved. I'm locked in now.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Wow, an Ultraman recap show ep that had an original fight? Never thought I'd see the day.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

I did it! I've talked about every show I've seen finished so far, barring stuff with too few eps to isolate in this manner or stuff I haven't finished yet. I'll keep updating as I finish more shows, but these past 6th months of remembrance are wrapped for now.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

I honestly can't believe that the Destroy All Monsters Melee remaster is not only real, but coming out in a mere 5 months. I can't wait to see a new generation of fans falling in love with it. Oh! I hope they get a demo for it at G-Fest! That would rock!

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

The Battle for Dreams is the 6th ep of Ultraman Ginga. Hikaru & Tomoya are attacked by Tiga Dark, but Taro helps them escape. Tomoya has no dream due to being scolded by his father after saying he would be like him, & Taro tells him a similar story, so Hikaru tells Tomoya to beat Ginga as his dream!

Just heard about the passing of Kenji Ohba, and I feel now that the passage of time just sucks. All I can say is RIP.

I want to see this (w)rap battle.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 17/04/2026

Woah, Ultraman Teo trailer hit & I don't know what else to say aside from-

011

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

Welp, just made the mistake of watching this for the sake of completionism. The skeleton of a competent Gundam story is there, but it just did not come together.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

Man, the amount of stuff coming for Kamen Rider's 55th is crazy, huh? Kabuto & Den-O movies, multiple new labels, plus an early reveal of the next show's title is a lot to take in.

001

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 29/03/2026

Ngl, I did not plan to talk about Darkness for Akio Jissoji's b-day, it was just a coincidence. A welcome one, AR any rate.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 25/03/2026

Tojima season finale was one hell of a ride, wasn't it? Hope we get more in the future. Also Kamen Rider Dawn turned out more cartoonishly evil than I could have imagined.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

Thank you Papa! Yayoi's Treasure is the 19th ep of Smile Precure. The girls are given an assignment to find the meaning of their names, Yayoi's struggles due to having been named by her deceased Father. As she tries to remember what she can about him Wolfrun creates an Akanbe from a momento of him.

Loving the premiere of Gavan Infinity, listened to the op multiple times already. I guess it also helps I have the Space Sheriff Trilogy fresh in my mind as well.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 14/02/2026

Done with Amazon and Shaider, gearing up to start J.A.K.Q, Carranger, and Solbrain next week. Also ready for Gavan Infinity!

010

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

Just finished Gozyuger, but my Sentai journey is far from over. I won't stop til I'm Number 1 at getting caught up in Super Sentai!

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 06/02/2026

Finally got to see Meitantei Precure's premier, and I am hyped at the possible mysteries that could come to light. Also finished Ultraman Omega (finally) and it ended about the best way it could given all that had happened.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 05/02/2026

Kamen Rider Amazon episode 22 has brought me a 2nd flying squirrel monster that makes by plane noises in flight, after the original series. So yes, I now have 2 nickels.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 05/02/2026

I'm starting to wonder if people are even seeing my fav episodes thread or if I'm even doing an adequate job articulating my feelings in single posts. I'm mostly doing it to get my own opinions in order though, lol.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

Not being able to watch the Meitantei Precure premiere til Thursday due to friend schedules is killing me. I'll have to subsist on Idol Precure clips in the meantime.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

Just realized that talking about The Monster Tamer and the Boy on MLK Day may be the most perfect coincidence I've ever unleashed.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

Being able to footage of Gavan Infinity after months of preview posters and teased is nice. Now I can really start looking forward to the 1st of a new series... I will give it all the support I can.

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

I'm sure a lot of people have said the same, but Cure Arcana Shadow is insanely popular, have you seen all the fanart?

010

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 11/01/2026

Meitantei Precure official reveal, Woo! Now it feels like proper... Goodbye...season... No! Idol Precure Don't Leave Me! But Meitantei looks so good! Aggrufffloful!

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 01/01/2026

Happy New Year! To commemorate 2026, I've decided to ( try to) talk about my fav episodes from shows I've watched!

Its new Year's Eve and I'm off work. Time to catch up on spinoffs I've missed. Like Girls Remix.

000

Sentai being on hiatus per Producer Shirakura rather than dead is a relief, but man does Project R.E.D have some big shoes to fill.

010

Oh, and happy 60th to Gamera. I'll enjoy playing as you on Gigabash.

000

It's Thanksgiving, and all I can think about is that Super Sentai is ending. I had a life, I swear. Maybe I just need to get into a turkey coma.

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

Just finished Shinkenger and boy was it a ride. The characters where excellent, action dynamic, it was all around a great time. Now I gotta decide what Sentai to watch next...

000

Otakuzulla @otakuzulla.bsky.social · 15/11/2025

Of all the ways that Toei was gonna handle Sumino's character, recasting her with Kohaku Shira was admittedly not on my bingo card.
