He was a big part of cartoons for me, growing up in the 90s too. He also played my favorite Ronin Warrior, Sage of the Halo.

It’s absolutely wrecking me this morning, to find out that Michael Donovan, the English VA for the original Ryoga, passed back in March.

I’m updating everyone personally as I am able. Slowly making a dent in things. Always appreciative of everyone and their continued patience. 💕

I’m slowly getting back to things. 🫠 I know it’s been a while, I was still taking care of family, many people came to see SO’s mom after her accident and I really needed to find space for myself in all of it. I wasn’t feeling very centered or able to find my creativity with all the chaos.

My SO’s mom had an accident this past week, so we’ve been back and forth from the hospital for days. She’s thankfully okay and coming home today and I’ll be helping take care of her. Any shop orders or Fund a Fanarts help so much right now. No one else can watch her and I can’t really work atm. 🙏🏻

I know I have a boatload of work to catch up on and I’m doing what I can to get it all taken care of, while dealing with health issues. I appreciate all of you and I will send out updates this week, wherever I am at.

Every day this past week I have woken up to an intense migraine plus nausea that takes me out for most of the day. I had to go to urgent care. It really feels like my health is tossing me around like a ragdoll lately and I just gotta go with it.🫠 I am so sorry to everyone!

Update: I just love that they basically told me they found nothing wrong and that I have to see a specialist to do a more thorough exam and that could take several weeks. 🫠

My toothache I’ve been having this past month has started to feel even worse, so I’m going to the dentist urgently tomorrow. I’m so uncomfortable so I apologize for the delay with things and replying to messages. I’ll get back to everyone soon!🙏🏻💕

This is old art. Just reposting. Was testing what it would look like if I did some digital colors over my traditional inks~

I caught up on some much needed sleep/rest today and may still need more. I’ve been getting 3 hrs a day sleep all week and it’s been absolutely dreadful powering through work as of late. Things will get better. 💪🏻✨

That GiTS issue of Animerica is my first one ever. It’s falling apart and even has a part of it cut (I think from a cousin or something). I have no idea where the Ganbaruger sticker came from either but it’s always been there.

Artists! Show what built your art style! Of course Ranma 1/2 and Atsuko Nakajima. Chika was the first online artist I became a big fan of, and the way she presented art continues to influence me today. My Animerica magazines were like my guidebooks. I always had one open when I was young.
