lil style practice for my upcoming webcomic im developing #digitalart #myocs #comic #route23series

Three panel comic. First panel is set during the morning sunrise among some pine trees. Harry, who's old, has a square face and jaw, has short but slightly wavy grey hair, blue eyeglasses (though here his glasses are more comically square and solid as opposed to see thru), wears a white button up and brown vest, and is actively sweating profusely, yells "Jasper... How the hell are you not suffering in this heat?"

Second panel is of the same pine trees but is facing where harry is looking. as we look over his right shoulder, we see Jasper, a tall slightly skinny filipino with two toned mid length green hair (the back dark green and the bangs an emerald green) wearing a muted red tank top, dark green shorts, and has his hair kept back with a red headband. He turns around and replies, gesticulating with his left hand "dude, im wearing a tank top and shorts. You were the one who swore you could do a hike in a *suit*."

Third panel is a close up of harry, however his glasses are more realistic as we can see through them to look at his wrinkled eyes twitch. The background is a dark red with scribbles at the top as Harry thinks "He's right but im mad about it. Fuck..."

Another three page comic, now set around the evening at the peak of the hike. The location is now a clearing of trees with wild bushes leading towards a lake with a dock all with mountains surrounding them in the distance.

First panel has Jasper slightly disheveled and dragging Harry by the vest collar. He's in a lunge pose as hes struggling to pull Harry. a text box points to him saying "Passed out from heat exhaustion." Ahead of him is the pier. Jasper groans out "Almost there Harry! This'll help with the heat-"

The second panel has an orange gradient background, as Jasper stands on the edge of the dock. His hands are thrown up in an arc as he throws Harry off. We see Harry's legs as he flies into the lake with a loud splash.

Third panel is of the two of them a bit after the last panel. Jasper and Harry sit off the edge of the dock, back facing the setting sun. Harry is now just in his white button up and pants but is completely soaked. Jasper looks nervously to Harry as he asks "You uh- You feelin' better Harry?" to which Harry, who's glasses are back to being comedically square and opaque, looks straight at the camera with an unamused expression as he replies "Peachy" in a sarcastic tone

Also, this is his result after many tries! Told him how to hold the pen and let the hand wander over the paper for better line quality. It looks pretty good and he can't believe he did that himself! That's the magic of art! Hope he can continue if he likes it and who knows, become an artist too!

Stanley looks horrified and scared, while the narrator has a pained, but relieved and happy smile on his face.
