I think this is the hardest I’ve laughed in a while and my neighbors can probably hear me “Is he wearing a loaf of bread on his head” and the dry “yeah, it looks like fries now” 🤣

We are so lucky cats haven’t gone extinct with their curious instincts like “who knows what’s in this opening, I will stick my head down there” and “I’m not sure what this is, so I’ll put it in my mouth”

And I don’t want to hear “actually X8 is good”. No it isn’t! It’s just better than the abysmal X7 so it seems ok. Get out of here with the X8 apologies.

This dork is one of the worst poochies in games. He isn’t cool and his games suck. He is such a screw up his name is Axl but he’s NOT in the game with a bunch of GnR references. He couldn’t “return to his home planet” because the franchise DIED with his games!

Great news everyone! The results of her echo were excellent. The valve that is enlarged has remained stable year over year and there’s no abnormality in the rest of her heart. Her cardiologist considers her low risk for heart failure. We’re going to keep checking her annually but so far so good 😊

Molly decided to mix things up a bit. Instead of sitting in the box she tipped it over and is laying on top of it. Totally different experience. 📦🐱

today I was reading about those 3DO Army Men games and found out that the attractive, regular human looking girl character that was in the spin off Portal Runner was violently killed off on screen in one of the last games. Wild lol

An awful feeling in JRPGs is when the encounter rate is so high you mentally auto pilot and don’t remember which way you were headed to once the overworld reappears and then as you reorient yourself another fight begins

I didn’t get a call this afternoon with her echo results, so hopefully tomorrow morning. On a nice note, everything else looks good and we’re staying the course on her meds. Except…she’s up to 12 lbs and we want her to be 10 for her heart health. So it’s diet time. Less kibble for Molly😿

We’re also looking at her teeth, she’s getting her annual shots, and checking in on her allergies and digestion with a fecal test. Big day for little one. (She behaves well but isn’t exactly thrilled)

Molly is at the vet for her big annual check up and cardiologist appointment. She’s getting an echo to look at her heart murmur. Let’s hope it goes well! I’m anxious waiting for the results.

Was it "Diddy's Kong Quest" or "Diddy Kong's Quest"? In the final game it's the former, but as we can tell from this 1995 E3 video, it once was the latter! archive.gamehistory.org/item/a6df7c… #Nintendo #SuperNintendo #SNES #DonkeyKongCountry2

And what if I told you there was a Indian girl character planned for DOA2? And that (some of) her data is still present in the older DC prototype dumps?

This game gave us some good additions to MK lore, the iconic photo of Quan Chi with a kool refreshing Diet Pepsi, and the all timer Blight Klub moment where Minotti jump kicked off a kliff. It’s a klassic and I won’t hear otherwise.

Pretty sweet to see Gears of War E-Day review highly. I still love these mid 2000’s style shooters. I hope the Coalition continues to steward the series. I thought 4 was solid, 5 was excellent, and although I was disappointed to see this was a prequel if it’s good I’ll gladly take it.

I dug the Belmont’s Kurse demo. Took a couple tries to get used to the dodge against the boss but the game looks and sounds rad. I’m super happy it seems like a pretty straight forward SOTN style Castlevania and isn’t a rogue lite or whatever.

I beat Silent Hill Townfall and am like, halfway into NG+. I like the game quite a bit. The stealth is surprisingly harsh and punishing, but I was into it with the exception of one part with a stalker enemy. If you've played it you KNOW. 3/3 on great Silent Hill games since this komeback. Nice.

I was a little disappointed at how downgraded it looked and sounded compared to KI2. By 96 and with new hardware it was a bummer to see arcade ports still lag behind. However, it’s still KI2 at heart so I loved it and played it a billion hours until I got an actual KI2 cabinet.

One of my core N64 memories was being so excited to get KI Gold for Christmas that by the 23rd my frothing demand had increased to where I begged mom to let me play early, telling her about the lore, Maya, the music. Framed like it was unreasonable to make me wait because this game was so important.
