Could’ve *sworn* I had the Enormous Battlefield Starfinder map (first pic) for tonight’s File Corrupted. Somehow, I don’t… but the shop had the Ravages Of War Pathfinder map, which… subs pretty darn well! (Layout is similar—aesthetic not as much. But scenario-specific thing makes that no biggy.)
Starfinder Enormously Battlefield map, a view of a circular, park-like area of green space, surrounded by a roundabout with six streets branching away at regular intervals, like spikes of a wheel. Various buildings occupy the spaces between these ‘spokes’, but the scene is marred by craters, cracks, and collapsed buildings—this area’s seen recent combat. The Ravages Of War map for Pathfinders. An intersection of six streets in a fantasy town, albeit at irregular intervals and with no scenic green space. Still a big open area though, and still buildings around the area, and a lot of battle damage.

Show a pic on your device that has your energy, but isn’t a selfie.
A conversation screen from the Fire Emblem series of games. The speaker is a woman named Hana, with pale skin and brown hair past her shoulders, wearing some sort of white top with red sleeves. What looks to be a katana hangs at her side, and her face bears an expression of grim determination, as she says: “People who say ‘no pun intended’ are cowards. Intend your puns, weaklings.”

Now that brings back memories! I remember seeing her character portrait in the original book and thinking something akin to this:
"I've only had Arlo..." meme, edited to be about The Curse Of the Crimson Throne Adventure Path in Pathfinder 1E. In the top panel a caucasian woman with dark, curly hair looks lovingly at a white dog in her arms; the edited caption reads: "I've only [known Trinia] for a day and a half." In the bottom half, the scene is similar, except she's looking towards someone off-camera, and the dog's pose is different. The continued caption here reads: "But if anything happened to [that cutie] I would kill everyone in [the palace] and then [the Queen]." The altered words are in colored text; "known Trinia," and "that cutie" in teal, "the palace" and "the Queen" in deep crimson--bordered in gold, to boot.

All my GMing for October will be done in costume. I may not always be on-theme… but I’d say this is a decent ‘cruel, Daemon-consorting queen’. But she’s not *all* bad—look, she’s offering you a refreshing drink!
Raven, in a black robe belted with a wide crimson sash, beneath a black vest that sparkles like distant stars. The vest fastens with three pewter clasps and the robe ties together at the throat, but the tie and the top clasp are both undone here, exposing a triangular patch of flesh beneath the horizontal “shreds” of a dark red shirt. Over these shreds is visible a silver, black and red necklace with a ‘vampire bat’ motif, and above that, of course, Raven’s ever-present trans symbol necklace. On her forehead is an ominous crown fronted by a silver raven skull, composed of black leaves and red roses. She looks down with imperious disdain, and holds forth an oversized chalice in her left hand, as if bidding the viewer to drink from it to beseech her favor. Pretty good for something amalgamated together out of two costumes and several pieces, no?Close-up, giving a better view of the “unclasped vest-over-untied robe-over-shred shirt-plus-bat necklace” business going on with Raven’s upper chest area. Also, the (off-center) trans necklace, and a view of the crimson-beaded earcuff you couldn’t see in the previous pic.

Raven familiar/dice bag with lesbian cloak, in its natural habitat (hanging from a carabiner). 😜 (From recent Chaotic Queer Kickstarter, by @gaybreakfast.bsky.social !)
An adorable corvid plush, with embroidered trans-colored eye twinkles and pride-rainbow chest feathers, and felt claws and feet, wearing a purple cloak, flared dramatically to show off the lesbian-flag stripes on the inside (and because the Raven *wearing* the raven wearing the cloak it is kinda dramatic like that). A lanyard (trans flag striped with black feathers) connects from the back of the plush raven’s neck to a steel carabiner hanging from the human(-ish) Raven’s belt.

Bottom of the stairs to my basement lair—last step’s a real doozy!
A doormat stylized to look like a wooden trap door with iron fittings and pull ring. It sits on a beige carpeted floor, the toes of the photographer’s shoes visible at the very bottom of the frame atop a single step leading down to it. ‘Emblazoned’ on the ominous opening is the reassuring(?) message: “Definitely not a Trap Door”. (Spoilers: that’s because it’s actually a mimic!)

When a scenario features an androgynously beautiful fey monarch, who am I not to try to match that energy? #Pathfinder #TheElsewhereFeast
Raven, shot from a low angle, looking down at the viewer with an expression of disdainful boredom. She wears her usual trans symbol necklace and dark-rimmed glasses. She’s in what appears to be a short-sleeved, open-fronted, mottled green top, with a large, bejeweled, circular bronze clasp drawing the sides together just below her breastbone and a tight black underlayer keeping it from exposing scandalous amounts of skin (in reality, the black “underlayer” and top are a single garment, and the clasp and “jewels” are just plastic… still a great thrift store find, though!)
She also “wears” an olive-green duster, though it’s down off her shoulders to give the effect of a stole or a wrap. Her hands are clasped around waist level, at the very bottom of the frame. I think I nailed the vibe pretty well!

Post your getaway vehicle What else?
Miniature of Battletech mech, on a hexagonal base. It has digitigrade “chicken legs” like an AT-ST, a cockpit with a conical nose, and three visible points of interest on the arms—a pair of lasers on its right arm, a missile launcher underneath said arm, and what appears to be a laser (but is actually a beacon to ‘paint targets’ for the BIG missiles). This particular model is painted largely in black with gray accents; the cockpit glass is a color best described as ‘ominous visor red’. The apertures for the lasers on its right are a neon green, while the one for the targeting beacon on its left is what I’d call ‘classic laser red’.
The name of this mech? The Raven, of course.

Post an image that should be an album cover. Following her triple-dawnsilver breakout debut “Raven Rising”, Raven of the Drift is ready to drop diss tracks on the Azlanti Star Empire in her hotly-anticipated follow-up, “Shattered Space”.
Raven, wearing a top that gives the impression of a black tank beneath a mottled blue open shirt (it’s actually one garment, and the sides of the ‘open shirt’ fold together a bit lower down). This leaves a decent swath of Raven’s pale upper chest bare, against which her black trans symbol necklace stands out prominently.
She’s leaning back (in a chair) with a confident expression, wearing sweet sunglasses (her black & blue glasses with magnetic clip-on shades)—they really do make *everyone* look cooler. Her hair is parted on the right, swept high across her forehead.
In the background to her left is a tall bookcase—the top shelf has a near-complete collection of Pathfinder 1E Pocket Edition sourcebooks; below it are her two “trophy shelves”. Second from the top has shiny Special Edition hardcover Starfinder books, while the shelf beneath that has Sketch Cover Pathfinder tomes.
She looks badass, like she’s ready to tour with Sonic Tumult or Vesk Funeral Pyre.

If you see this, post a princess. I mean, her father IS royalty...
Raven, from Teen Titans, in her usual black leotard and dark blue cape. The cape clasp is a round gold setting for a black stone, she wears a belt composed of similar pieces linked together. She has gray skin and black eyes, with shoulder-length hair that's blue verging on purple. She has a diamond-shaped gem inset in her forehead. She stands stoically, arms by her sides, with a slight frown on her face. The impression is she's not entirely happy with whatever's going on, but is resigned that she's gonna have to deal with it regardless. You and me both, girl.

Post a meme made by you …what a surprise, it’s a #Starfinder meme. All praise to Lambatuin, the Polyphonic Collective! Memes for the meme god, lulz for the lul throne!
The Salty Spitoon SpongeBob meme, with the big fish wanting in labeled “STARFINDER” in purple and blue letters. In the first panel, they brag (in red and yellow letters) that, “We have stats for the alien from The Thing!”, while in the second panel, the bouncer fish challenges back “Yeah, so?” (In generic black and white letters). The third panel zooms in on the big fish as they continue, “…as a PLAYABLE ANCESTRY!”, before the fourth concludes with the suddenly nervous bouncer hastily ushering the big fish in: “Right this way, please!”

One more #GenCon pic—got to share the spotlight with sensational skittermander superstar (and Iconic Luminary!), Prisma! I kinda dig the whole ‘light and shadow’ theming we’ve got going with our respective appearances—Prisma/Raven Of the Omens double bill? Bet Chk-Chk would be there! #Starfinder
Raven, in her 13Omens host garb of purple GM shirt beneath black shawl, floor-length black skirt, purse made to resemble a book with Poe’s “The Raven” on the cover, red neck ribbon and black and red rose tiara with silver raven skull. She waves cheerfully at the camera, as does Prisma, the life-size, yellow-furred, six-armed skittermander posed behind her. Prisma’s head fur is hot pink and lime green striped, she wears wristbands and bracelets in various neon hues on her arms, and is dressed in a hot pink jacket over a black shirt with a pink and gold star on it, and a purple tutu. She’s also decked out in an array of brightly-colored accessories. She’s *FABULOUS*.

Things started off in dramatic fashion—a very unlucky series of rolls that resulted in a max-damage crit dropping the Necromancer before initiative had even been rolled! The party bounced back in fine fashion, though, preventing a ‘large-scale rapid unscheduled disassembly’, and recovering.
Shot of a Pathfinder battle map, with three characters (and a green base for their research assistant) gathered around a table crowded with alchemical supplies. A fourth character mini is lying next to the table, on its side—the unfortunate Necromancer.

Speaking of #Metroid40, I was also a day late with this shirt (and only ended up in it today by happenstance!) (Yes, I own two pink-colored, Barbie script t-shirts with overtones of genderfuckery. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice.)
Raven, arms outstretched to take as long a shot as possible, from a low angle, in order to get her face and shirt in the frame. She’s smiling, with bandaid back in place beneath her chin, and the brim of her ‘totes not suspicious’-looking cap is visible above her black-to-blue gradient glasses (they look amazing up close). The strap of her crossbody bag descends from over her right shoulder to her left hip; her trans symbol necklace is nowhere to be seen; it IS present, but apparently was totally concealed by clothing when she took the pic.
Speaking of which, her clothes; you know, the whole point of the photo. She’s wearing a hot pink t-shirt, with a bust shot of Samus Aran, in her orange and red armor, blue arm cannon raised high. Her helmet is off, displaying a gorgeous mane of yellow blonde hair, she’s flashing a perfect smile, and is visibly wearing lipstick and blush. She looks fabulous. Below her, in a font somewhat reminiscent of the logo for an iconic Mattel doll, are the words “Bounty Hunter”—the initial capital ‘B’ is particularly striking.

Did it happen twice?! Not definitive, but when I presented my rewards card at the grocery store, cashier looked quizzical as she said my deadname (which is on the account), like she was surprised by it. Could be residual euphoria from yesterday, but I’ll count the win. (Today’s look, for reference)
Raven, in avgrey t-shirt, her trans symbol necklace visible against it. The bandaid off, she’s been less than successful at not picking at the spot under her chin, the results visible as an angry red spot. She wears her glasses askew, and has a rare natural-looking smile on her face. Little bits of hair are visible from beneath her black Three Robbers baseball cap, with its half-shaded, highly sus-looking eyes. Pulling off the “cute tomboyish girl” look perhaps?

Felt I should document my appearance at the time. I was definitely stacking gear bonuses to boost Femininity, but my Hairstyle Bonus is definitely doing solid work there too! Now to farm XP while the Gender Euphoria buff lasts. (No I don’t know why I’m suddenly using MMORPG-speak. Euphoria? Sure.)
Raven, in her car. She’s wearing a pink t-shirt with text in a font reminiscent of the Barbie logo, her chest crisscrossed by the strap of her crossbody bag and her seatbelt. The chain of her trans symbol necklace, returned to its rightful place, can be seen, though the symbol is currently hidden beneath the bag strap. Alarge bandaid beneath her chin covers a minor scar to stop her picking at it, but looks on the verge of falling off (curse you, facial hair!) Her blue-black framed new glasses, oddly, sit askew on her face, like her old clear ones, despite these never having been bent out of shape. Weird… but she makes it look good, so whatevs. Her hair is nothing elaborate, just a little extra length and volume, but it’s puffed up well, and the bangs are swept across in a super-cute pixie-ish style. And she just got ‘Maam’ed’ so, like +20% Cuteness buff. Raven back home, shot from the waist up (i.e. what the cashier would’ve seen). The pink t-shirt with Barbie-looking writing on it can now be discerned to read “Forklift Certified”, the black crossbody bag is slung from her right shoulder to sit against her left hip, and the trans symbol necklace is fully visible against the light pink shirt. Her glasses are still sitting charmingly askew; her hair is less easy to make out now, but still attractive. Still look like a girl, yay!

I did my civic duty and voted in the primary, as Abadar teaches. Now back to gleefully and wantonly ignoring those teachings till the general in November.
An exhausted-looking Raven, wearing a Pathfinder Mirage Dragon tee, the strap of a sling purse visible over it. An “I Voted” sticker is on the shirt, just below her left shoulder. (Her typical trans pride necklace is missing, but only because she hasn’t unpacked that suitcase from GenCon yet). Close-up of the “I Voted” sticker, which looks like a crayon drawing of an astronaut on the moon, holding the iconic American flag from the Apollo mission, with a pink ringed planet in the background. Probably the winner in a design contest for school kids.

Raven of the Omens will return in… Avengers: Doomsday
Raven, in the Sagamore Ballroom at GenCon, flanked by two cosplayers with *incredible* costumes. On the left is a man with a magnificent white beard, his hands on his hips. He’s dressed in Steampunk garb—a long, bronze-colored coat, green vest with visible pocket watch chain, and tan pants. On his head is the pièce de résistance, a short, round hat (I don’t know my hat types), with yellow-framed goggles sitting atop the wide brim. Atop the hat sits a large yellow exclamation mark. If this is a specific character, I don’t recognize them, but either way the costume is great. In the center is Raven, hands clasped at her waist, in her purple GenCon Paizo GM shirt and badge lanyard, and her “Raven of the Omens” garb—long black skirt, black shawl, and red ‘headless ghost’ neck ribbon, along with the vampire bat pendant and coordinating earcuff that can’t easily be made out at this distance. On the right is Doctor Doom. No, seriously, I’m pretty sure Victor Von Doom decided it was a perfect time to attend GenCon incognito as a cosplayer of himself. But, like, his massive ego clearly wouldn’t allow him to make a ‘cosplay’ version of his outfit that wasn’t near-perfect, so this is as close to the real thing as you could hope for. It’s all there: the armored arms and legs, the green tunic and hooded cloak, the yellow insignias on the pauldrons—and the mask. An honest-to-goodness, full face, mask, either metal or a convincing facsimile thereof… with Glowing. Green. Eyes. This costume was NUTS. DOOM’s right arm is behind Raven’s back; his left is raised across his body as if extending for a fistbump (and he may have been—missing a cue like that would *not*be out of character for Raven)

To a suitably massive Boss Room, where awaited the scenario’s boss, a very much UNexoected foe that I had the pleasure of dropping on my unsuspecting players. And the fight… it’s a masterclass in how to do a “solo boss” in the PF2/SF2 rules. (2/2)
A very large room on a battle map (the squares are actually slightly smaller than 1 inch, to allow for more space!), with a holographic display in the center, and some floor grates and columns, along with a black orb in the near wall, glowing an ominous shade of green. On the right is the minis and pawns of the player characters, who’ve just entered. On the left is an imposing spider-tank like mini (played Final Fantasy 8? Think the X-ATM robot that chases you in Dollet), which is, of course, the boss.

Raven, leaning confidently back in a chair at her gaming table. Her purple GenCon GM t-shirt is layered over a long-sleeve black underlayer, and she has a long black scarf, pinned to her badge lanyard to keep her t-shirt visible (trans pin, lesbian pin, 13 Omens pin). A silver necklace, red earcuff dice, and the silver raven skull on her black and red rose tiara can at least vaguely be made out. A red ribbon is tied in a bow around her throat—but ask no more about it, and swear never to seek to untie it! On the wall behind her are posters of Pathfinder’s iconic Commander, Grimmyr, and the cover illustration from Impossible Magic, featuring a dramatic ballet against an enormous elemental.

Got this one in the mail other day… question is, do I combine it with a certain Chronicle Boon to make a Baba Yaga patron witch, for maximum “Heather Has Two Evil Witch Mommies” angst? Or go with my other idea of an Int martial class who deliberately shunned magic to fight The Call?
An official yellow Pathfinder Organized Play Charity Boon, called Child Of Aslynn, granting a single Changeling character access to a custom Background. No funky abilities on it, but as Aslynn is one of the Pathfinder Society’s most notorious enemies, *AMAZING* roleplay potential.

Vulkarisu Luminary Fashionista with matching longarm. Your argument is invalid. #Starfinder #BeyondTheBloodDoor #PlayersGuide #LookingFoxy
Sassy-looking Vulkarisu (fox-like humanoid), with brown and white fur, a fluffy squirrel tail, and yellow eyes. They're wearing a frilly purple dress, a small purple bow at the base of their right ear, and a larger, matching, bow at their right shoulder. This larger bow secures a lighter purple strap slung cross-body style, as if for a purse or satchel; but rather than a bag of any sort, it connects to a futuristic-looking gun. The weapon's long barrel, wide muzzle, and underside fuel tank suggest a flamethrower of some sort. The gun's casing is the same lighter purple as its strap, but the muzzle, barrel, and piping from the chem tank are a metallic golden color, matching the stars stenciled on the purple portions. Silly as it all sounds, the vulkarisu is absolutely pulling it off, with an expression suggesting that whether onstage or on the battlefield, they are ready to slay.

Oh yeah, game recaps! Last Monday’s Pathfinder game had a special guest Star—my Shemhazian Demon mini, subbing in for a Gargantuan turtle-robot. Once the encounter started, though, I pulled it off for better visibility… because the encounter isn’t a fight with the turtlebot! (1/3)
A battle map sketched on dry erase, showing a portion of a dungeon. The most prominent feature is a large circular (well, in theory—I’m a decent hand cartographer, but not “sketch a perfect circle freehand” decent) chamber near the top. A pair of hexagonal shapes denoting pillars are within the room… but you’d be forgiven for not noticing, as they’re overshadowed by an enormous figure that can be called a “miniature” only in the technical sense. It’s an enormous, heavily muscled, bipedal beast, with horned limbs, saurian tail, mantis claws growing from its back, and a head combining the most terrifying qualities of a grizzly bear and a spider. The automaton it’s standing in for is pretty chill. The actual thing it represents? Well, it’s called a Mutilation Demon; draw your own conclusions. The same map, minus the giant demon mini—the space it occupied is now another hastily sketched “circle”, with a star inside it. (Though not pentagram-style—the points are well inside the circle’s boundaries, because it’s not a magical diagram, but a big mecha-turtle…who is literally named Star). Several cardboard pawns and an ogre mini are arrayed around the edges of the room, with a couple having backed into some caves, away from a menacing-looking sparkly pink pawn base. The pawns AND the “ogre” (actually a Minotaur) are the heroes—the sparkly pink thing is a very dangerous trap, and the actual “opponent” being faced.

Wow—getting crossed-up with this post while still dizzied from that last one is just *mean*! (Seriously, I’m grateful—knowledge painfully acquired is often the most valuable)
The iconic “report post” menu from days of yore on FB, with the “I’m in this post and I don’t like it” option chosen.

Best Star Trek Captain. Wrong answers only.
A crew of four fuzzy, six-armed Skittermanders crewing a starship. To the left, a blue Skittermander in an orange jumpsuit is using all six of their hands to wield a soldering iron, a fire extinguisher, and other tools to deal with a burning console. On the right, one with purple fur dressed in spellcasters' robes is gesturing excitedly as they operate what looks to be the sensor station. Front and center, a red-furred pilot steers the ship with a yoke that looks to be custom-designed for a six-armed creature.
Finally, in the back, we have the Skittermander Captain... presumably. They're visible only from the knees down, and all we can tell about them is that they're likely seated in a chair--meaning they're sitting back, monitoring the overall situation, and trusting their crew to take care of their jobs. Jean-Luc Picard would approve.

They misspelled “Strawberry Machine Cake Waffle” as “Cheesecake”, but I’m still eating it in my #Skittermander shirt to GM #Starfinder tonight. Cause everyone loves Skittermanders! #FinalGambitPartOne
A delicious-looking strawberry machine cake / cheesecake waffle.Raven in the Starfinder Captain Concierge shirt, with a six-armed, fuzzy blue skittermander (and her lodge’s custom VO bowling shirt over it). Everyone loves Skittermanders!

Someday gonna play a ranged Inventor who uses both this and Tamper to clown on enemies who try to close to melee her.
Tamper (Feat 1)
Inventor, Manipulate
You tamper with a foe’s weapon or armor, using a free hand. Choose either a weapon held by an enemy in your reach or a suit of armor worn by an enemy in your reach. Attempt a Crafting check against the enemy’s Reflex DC.

Critical Success: Your tampering is incredibly effective. If you tampered with a weapon, the enemy takes a -2 circumstance penalty to attack and damage rolls with that weapon. If you tampered with armor, the armor hampers the enemy’s movement, making the enemy flat-footed (sic) and inflicting a -10 foot penalty to its speeds. This lasts until the enemy Interacts to remove it, regardless of which one you used. (Continued in next image)(Continuing from previous image)
Success: Your tampering is temporarily effective. As critical success, but the effect ends at the start of your next turn, even if the enemy doesn’t Interact to end it.
Critical Failure: Your tampering backfires dramatically, creating a a small explosion from your own tools or gear. You take fire damage equal to your level.

Going to see Disclosure Day. I hear it involves aliens, so I dressed appropriately. #Starfinder #Prisma #Skittermander
Raven, leaning awkwardly/casually against a wall, in a burgundy shirt featuring Starfinder’s iconic Luminary Prisma, a yellow-furred, rainbow-garbed, six-armed alien known as a skittermander. Raven’s pink Free Captains “murder kitty” logo pin and trans symbol necklace are both visible against the shirt. She wears sunglasses that are making a valiant effort towards making her look cool.

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum! This arrived today, and it’s chock-full of juicy details on #Pathfinder ‘s High Seas region—movers and shakers, sites of interest, recent happenings, and plot hooks galore. Horrific sea beasts too! Player options? Oh yeah, it’s got those (drumroll, please…) 🥁 (1/3)
The Lost Omens: High Seas book for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, by Paizo Publishing. It depicts a pitched battle between a Pathfinder Society vessel and an undead creature/vessel called a Bone Ship. Crew from the Pathfinder ship (including Iconics Nhalmika the dwarf Gunslinger and Jirelle, the Aiuvarin (half-elf) Swashbuckker) are boarding the Bone ship, Nhalmika on a ramp if magical force conjured by a mage behind her, and Jirelle, naturally, swinging across on a rope. In the waves below, merfolk troops are fighting on the side of the Pathfinders as well.
As usual for a Paizo cover, it’s gorgeous. Artist is Mirco Paganessi

If you see this, post a goth girl (Who else? 😁🐦‍⬛)
Raven, the very goth heroine from DC comics’ Teen Titans. Pale skin, purple hair, black bodysuit, long blue cloak, gold belt, red forehead jewel, dark magic aura around one hand.

Yesterday, first day of the actual con, I ran back-to-back slots of Chitterwood Walks, part 1. Protip: making handouts for the skill challenges helps players keep track of their options. (3/6)
A series of four full-page handouts, on neon-toned paper—blue, orange, yellow and green. They each have a category heading at the top, with three task subheadings below, and one to three skill ootions per subheading.
The only fully visible one is the green one, titled “Tribal Games”. The subheadings are : “Eating Contest,” “Bonfire Construction,” and “Songwriting”. A fierce woodland battle with vile undead, as portrayed by chocolate candies. (You kill it, you eat it!)
