He realized that the FSKY Source void is essentially a time-capsule of people's memories playing Source games, and that by helping Skyghost access the Source void he essentially allowed her start gathering all of the DMNPC's who were trapped as these actors in the memories.

I feel like if you’re going to overly capitalize art, then you should know that it’d be wise to adhere to the markets demands to get the best chances at selling your product. As somebody who fits within the demographic of people in the art marketplace. I deem AI art less valuable than hand-made art

The value of one’s art is in the eye of the beholder, not the artist themself. An artist can’t just tell the world how valuable their art is, that’s just not how the world works. If you saw an AI generated painting at a convention would you want to spend 250 dollars to have it for your own?

It only becomes unethical when you start charging often expensive prices for an artwork that anybody can generate by using the same prompt and AI model.

While that is true, I think that it becomes problematic when people try to make a profit off of something where the effort is minimal as you say. An artwork’s monetary value should be based on the creation process.

And you have to put yourself in the shoes of somebody who went through the effort of making that specific image with their own hands, and how they must feel proud knowing they put it out there and anybody can use it for their own purpose.

Well you have to realize that AI is only really capable of generating an image of a Cat in a Santa Hat because it takes images and artworks that already exist and absorbs it into its dataset. AI is capable of generating anything you want as long as it’s not unique.

While yes AI can be used as a good alternative for people who neither have the mental or physical capacity to create art on their own to express how they feel, I don't think that the same said person should expect to impress people and gain an audience.

I think we're kind of missing the point here, which is not the subjective interpretation of AI art itself, but rather what it ends up getting used for. I believe that AI art becomes unethical when it's used to earn a profit and falsely labeled by it's author as authentic.
