A little fanart for KOG and the Last Unicorn since I think the theme of the fairytale not being what it appears to be mixes well. Also, no music since I don't want a copyright strike and since I can't find for the life of me copyright free music I like and that fits -.-

Fanart Nidoqueen #art #digitalart #pokemon

A semi-realistic fanart of the Pokemon Nidoqueen, lying low on her belly and facing the viewer with her large forepaws stretched forward. She has a heavy build reminiscent of a mix of reptilian and mammalian features while retaining her usual characteristics such as her big ears, the forehead horn, powerful claws, back spines and a thick tapering tail. Her face shows a relaxed expressions with two large fangs protruding beside her mouth. Her skin is drawn reminiscent of the thick skin of real rhinos with folds. Her massive tail extends far to the right, balancing the low, broad pose. The additional hatching follows the contours of her body while creating shadows and giving Nidoqueen more volume. She is coloured bright blue with some of her beige pattern visible. She is shaded with a darker blue layered shading. The background consists of a brown rectangular background framed by a floral ornament.

Bat in the Dark

A realistic black and white drawing of a bat in flight, facing the viewer almost head-on. Its enormous wings are spread wide across the image, their thin membranes stretched between long finger bones and rendered with dense, fine hatching that emphasizes their leathery texture and translucent folds. The bat has large upright ears, a small fur-covered body, an open mouth showing tiny teeth and slender legs ending in hooked claws. Pale highlights along the wing bones and fur contrast strongly against the solid black background. The otherwise monochrome drawing has a subtle reddish gradient tint, giving the pale areas and detailed cross-hatching a faint, warm tone. The species depicted is that of a long-eared bat.

Ossian94 @ossian94.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I wanted to make her look more like a rhino, with thicker skin and appearing a little bigger with smaller ears

Ossian94 @ossian94.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

And now on to Nidorina XD

Finished digital canary of the fame Pokémon Nidoran in a semi-realistic style. She stands facing the left site while looking at the viewer in three-quarter view. Her body has a sturdy, animal-like build with pale blue skin, scattered dark violet and teal spots across her back, front legs and spines on her back. The large koala-like ears dominate the silhouette. She stands against a muted brown background framed by an olive-green ornamental border.

You can read Alistair's and Aila's story, which is a slow-burn dark fantasy mystery, over on RoyalRoad www.royalroad.com/fiction/1842...

The Skin-Bound Tome Sidestory - The Selkies - Extended Edition

There are ancient things beneath the waves. Lurking and out for blood. The people of Harren have always lived with those shadows as they were aware of the Selkies and their secrets. Being entwined wit...

Ossian94 @ossian94.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I'm working on a portrait of him as well, just like I did with Aila.

Ossian94 @ossian94.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I need to practice drawing man more, although I think I managed to make him quite handsome (at least in the side profile -.-)

Fanart Nidoran ♀ - Hatching #pokemon #art #fanart

A semi-realistic fan art of a female Nidoran, standing facing to the left side with the head turned towards the viewer in a three-quarter view. She is drawn with more naturalistic, animal-like anatomy while retaining her characteristic large koal ears, horn on the forehead and long whiskers as well as the spines on the back. The additional hatching follows the contours of her face, body, ears, legs and spine, creating shadows and giving the otherwise uncoloured form a stronger sense of volume. The lines are reddish-brown on a beige background.

Fanart Nidoran ♀ - Lineart #pokemon #art

A semi-realistic lineart of female version of Nidoran, shown standing facing the left side with her head turned in a three-quarter view towards the viewer. Her design is reinterpreted with more animal like anatomy while retraining her characteristic features including an oversized pair of board koala-like ears with layered inner folds, a small forehead horn and several spikes along her back. She has a compact, sturdy body shape with short legs, small clawed toes and a short tail curling slightly upward. The lineart is reddish-brown against a pale beige background.
