Yesterday's public engagement panel discussion was a huge success, with insightful commentary from across disciplines. Many thanks to our speakers - Prof. Irene Tracey, Tom Saunders, Rebecca Hill and Hazel Beaver - and to Luisa Haiß for hosting! Let us know what you learned in the comments!
Professor Irene Tracey, Tom Saunders, Rebecca Hill and Hazel Beaver sit around a coffee table on a low stage, with Luisa Haiß stood in front. Luisa's hands are clasped as she smiles back at the speakers, and the Vice-Chancellor's hand is raised.A wide shot of the historic Holywell Music Room. Students and researchers in the audience look on at the panel discussion in the centre, with an organ and chandelier in the background.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by at the Freshers' Fair today to guess how many Skittles were in the conical flask! (And also to talk about the limitless potential of sharing our research effectively or something). No, we still don't know how many are in there.

Remember this? Just over a week ago, @alexander-colton.bsky.social presented his research for a non-specialist audience at an @oxfordcancer.bsky.social meeting. Interesting stuff! Thanks to everyone who helped make this opportunity happen.
