Still on my calorie deficit and I'm down 20 lbs! (Goal is 100 total by July next year) Killing two birds with one stone and giving myself little rewards along the way. Started shaving my arms/legs, and once I cross under the 200 lbs threshold I'm going to try painting my nails.

Working on Dex completion in Home again so I'm jumping between games. I have a long list of reasons why I like sword and shield, but I forgot how much I missed the pre-SV art direction. My ideal is still Let's Go (visually) but these are probably the second best looking mainline games on the switch.

The flow of information for Pokopia is very interesting. I think these are literally the first pokemon games in my entire time playing that haven't been leaked a week early and uploaded/datamined. It's a very different experience. That said, I hope something manifests for the sake of preservation.

I really, really hate saying it, but the botw switch 2 upgrade is kind of worth it. The physics engine on the original versions of the game was locked to 30 fps. While it was playable at higher resolutions just fine via emulation, certain things would look wonky or could break.

Echoes of Wisdom is so good, wish I played this sooner. So much open-ended problem solving and exploration, while still having semi-linear dungeons and some fixed story beats. It feels like a wonderful sister game to ALBW.

One of the more annoying aspects of yugioh, to me, is how unfun going turn 2 is. You're forced to sit through your opponents 5 hour long wombo combo, and if you manage to break their board on turn 2, they don't even let you play the game because they concede. I get it but man.

I, for one, will never buy a product from Lego again. There are so many passionate Bionicle fans out there that have made their own ways to keep the brand alive. Learning Magic as someone that's played Yugioh feels so weird. They share a lot of similarities but Magic plays so much slower. It feels a lot more relaxed, I feel like I could realistically play Magic in person (I will never be able to play Yugioh without Master Duel's glow lol).
