Seems Afobe is now a free agent after bouncing around a few jokeshop desert league clubs. Last one being in the Qatari second tier. 32 next month, you'd think he could still do a job at Championship level. He did kill his career though thinking he was Dennis Bergkamp rather than Ian Wright.

Not writing the guy off at all, just it doesn't scream long term. He won't do anything without 2-3 immediate first team arrivals anyway, no-one will. We left ourselves horrendously (and voluntarily) short handed in August.

100+ league goals conceded in well under a season and a half. This only ends one way. If you can't make yourself even vaguely hard to play against and constantly need to score 3+ to get anything, the team gets relegated and you get sacked. No matter how convinced you are that you are right. #wwfc

Clearly David Coote's conduct is incompatible with being a Premier League referee. But please don't ascribe conspiracy theories to that which can easily be explained by incompetence. As far back as 2016 he reffed Villa vs Wolves in the Championship and he was APPALLING. Got everything wrong. #wwfc

It won't happen that soon now. They'll look at it as being unbeaten in three, one game won't tip it (unless we lost 7-0 or something). I don't see them pulling the trigger unless we fail to beat ANY of Fulham, Bournemouth, Everton or West Ham. Which could happen, to be fair.
