Three-sided Poincaré Disk Bowl #origami @origami Done this model before, but this one is a little different -- I made the arcs equally distant at the midpoints, instead of at the ends. Works rather better.

1921. Don't know who and can't decipher the writing on the bottom. I think this is in Littleton, Massachusetts , back when operators had the exchanges right in their houses.

I was speaking with someone last year and mentioned that in the 70s, paperfolders all knew certain models, because of the diagrams included in packets of #origami paper. This is no longer a thing, I guess, so I thought I's upload a couple examples.

12-sided Dome #origami @origami This is similar to the noodle pots I folded some years back. But this model would be terrible for soup. Not only would the broth drain out, but it would drain all the faster because of the Coriolis pleating.
