Playing with the underpainting… aka the part where I pretend I have a plan. This one got a yellow medium, & I’m already thinking it should have been burnt sienna. Anyway I keep painting, layering and making questionable color choices. 😌🎨✨ #ArtSky #FigurativePainting #QueerArt #OilOnCanvas #man #gay

In general, the hips…but I loved every second of getting the lighting on the muscles just right. Working through those gentle transitions.

“I quite admit that I adored you madly, extrava-gantly, absurdly.” This is an excerpt from Oscar Wildes Picture of Dorian Gray, it shows words that were removed by his editor for being too #queer #GayBooks

Finally started breaking in my new #ArtJournal The goal is always the same: stop overthinking! This little piece threw me off and kicked my ass. I went to sleep frustrated but woke up the next day and saw something I actually loved #QueerArt #PaintingProcess #ArtistOnBluesky #FigurativeArt #DailyArt

Yesterday’s #portrait study…skin tones and shadows. The #InnerSaboteur was loud, but I kept painting. Sometimes our own minds are the hardest critics. #KeepGoing . #GayArt #QueerArt #HomoeroticArt #MaleFigure #FigureDrawing #PortraitStudy #ArtSky #GaySky #oiloncanvas #Art

I didn’t use the grid when working on this #Portrait just regular old pencil and eraser. 3 afternoons well spent 🎨 I'm using these sessions to study skin color and undertones. Creating this has been a great form of therapy for me. Really happy with how the lighting and color turned out Feel free to share your thoughts 💛 #QueerArt #MaleFigure #PortraitStudy #ArtSky #GaySky #OilOnCanvas

This heart maps chapters of my life. Drawn first as a journal entry, then built in cartonería… layer by layer. If creating feels wrong right now, it’s because something is wrong. Silence is how cruelty becomes” normal” You don’t need perfect words, just your voice. Speak up! Share what you see. Name what feels off. History warned us what silence does Let art witness Let it resist. #QueerArt #HumanRights
