My students and I made a short film, The Flock of Forgotten Faces. They spent a year crafting this wild and expressive story. It's great to see their hard work is being recognized. Congratulations, team. jagwire.augusta.edu/animation-st... #3danimation #3d #animatedshort #animation #3dart

Right season to throw this out here: I modeled Santa for my thesis animation. 5 years ago I remade Santa as an excuse to try out Xgen for the beard and fuzz. #3dmodel #animatedcharacter #3dsanta #3dartist #santaclaus #3dart #santa #xgen

The Xerces Blue was a stunning butterfly species that went extinct in the 1940s. This is part of my series of digital art called "Stylized Extinction" that highlights extinct creatures from manmade causes. More details in the thread that follows. #3dart #animation #artistsonthreads #art #3d

The Xerces Blue Butterfly sits on a branch against the backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge.

What if a landscape painting changed over time? Here's a clip from the experimental ambient landscape I made years ago to explore the concept. An oily rain triggers a fresh start. #experimentalanimation #animation #3dart #artists #digitalart #art

Years ago, I got experimental and created these 3D models. The idea was to create an ambient landscape that evolved over time. After an oily rain, a robot desert with metal sunflowers blooms to life. Will post a clip of the Animation later. #3dmodel #animation #robotanimals #art #experimental

Random highlight on an upcoming game, Mina the Hollower. It's a gorgeous throwback to things like LOZ: Link's Awakening on GBC by the people behind Shovel Knight. You can tell a lot of love and polish is going into this. Can't wait! youtu.be/_Fx0aJCRRpE?...

It's time to ditch the Wilhelm scream in movies. It's overdone and breaks the immersion every single time.
