We have an appointment with JAG on Tuesday. Will be asking what if any legal options my wife has regarding the treatment she recieved.

To those thinking I was being aggressive, I was removed while trying to leave the room so that I wouldn't get angry. My wife was told "You listen to me here" and "You can't leave" while pointing at her and telling me "You are being rude and disrespectful" when I stood to leave.

But, due to the threats, weaponized security and lack of attention my wife received after I was removed she did not feel safe staying. We left AMA, after we ensured that the prescriptions would be filled, and home health was arranged.

We finally ensured all home antibiotics were properly ordered and available for pickup today about 1630 yesterday. The system at the hospital failed her. There were some good doctors many great nurses and a Lead Case Manager that helped and were more than great.

ID doctor confirmed possible Cefepime-induced neurotoxicity for what happened with my wife. The switched medication. We filed a formal grievance with the hospital. The only two individuals we had an issue with was the Charge Nurse and 1 security guard.

For those following. After I was removed the Charge Nurse brought security back in the room where she berated my wife, then when my wife tried to ask for help getting her glasses or other items we had packed expecting discharge, the security guard yelled at her and threated her.

Y'all I am livid. My wife is still in the hospital. Home IV antibiotics still not approved, an unnecessary procedure was done, and she had a major reaction to one antibiotic last night. When we tried to get clarification on what the plan forward after I was removed by security.

The countdown may be ending, but I’m not leaving Magic—and The ORSA Major isn’t going anywhere. Family needs to come first right now. Thank you for sticking with The ORSA Major. This isn’t goodbye—just a change of pace and direction.

The ORSA Major @orsa-major.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

The Magic retirement countdown ends here. Because of my wife’s ongoing medical issues, my place is with her and our family. This isn’t the ending I planned, but it is the right decision. Thank you to everyone who followed The ORSA Major and opened packs alongside me.

Wife is still in the hospital. They tried a partial resection and debridement to attack osteomelyitis. Now on IV antibiotics. A few more days inpatient and then 6 weeks home IV. We are looking for referral to specialists, we are afraid the plan is too conservative/traditional.

Sorry, you have to deal with that. As an adoptive parent of three I can't imagine ever putting conditions on helping my kids, and I know we will bend over Backwards after they grow up to see them and any potential future grandchildren.

Terminal leave and Job hunting PTDY starts on 29 NOV. so that means 120 days until I am on leave and 211 until I am retired. I went to the Post Retirement ceremony today and have decided I will walk before I retire. Was originally planning on not having the ceremony.

No video today. We just spent the last 3 hours burying our dog. One of the twins went out to the garage to walk, feed and water him and she came in crying because she found him dead. I feel so bad for my kids right now.😭

I love being a dad, but sometimes the twins preteen attitude is extreme and littleman has that 6yr old stage 4 clinger energy. Seriously glad the twins are at a sleepover for the weekend.
