Instant stuff is fun to me when the implications about the character's agency are reversed. Like even if it is not their fault, it appears to everyone else as if it was, and their agency is still implicated when struggling to/failing to reverse the change.

With a low level fat fetish you first just want to see characters get fat. Medium level you want more sophistication, scenarios should reflect the character's personality and narrative context. But at a high level you start wanting to see them get fat in specifically stupid and shallow ways again.
